Don't know much about him but would he be a good signing/loan option for us?

From Wikipedia -

Driver was the subject of two bids totalling £500,000 from Championship club Burnley in the summer of 2008, which was rejected by Hearts.[5] Coventry City too made a £1 million bid in the 2009 January transfer window, which was also rejected. On 6 July, the BBC reported that Burnley had opened signing talks with Hearts.[6] Joop Munsterman the FC Twente CEO reported on RVT Oost that Hearts had turned down a £3m offer for Driver.[7] In all five clubs enquired about his availability including Chelsea.[8]Since the Summer of 2010 Driver's appearances were limited due to injury.[9] A bad knee injury needed surgery[10] and was followed by a thigh injury suffered during a bounce match to regain fitness.[11] In May 2011 he had to undergo a further knee operation.[12]

In his first appearance on his return from Injury Driver made his European debut against Paks in the Europa League scoring the third goal in their 4-1 win.[13] Despite being fit[14] Driver only appeared in seven of the first 20 competitive appearances under new manager Paulo Sergio and a loan deal was considered,[15] but did not come to fruition as Hearts were seeking a fee for the loan.[16]

On 16 December the press reported that Driver was due to hand in a transfer request[17] as he no longer wished to play under new manager Paulo Sergio.[18] The following day he was included in the squad as a substitute to face Dunfermline but was dropped after confirming to Sergio that he did not wish to play under him.[19]

Could be injury prone and he's also fell out with the manager.Too much baggage?

Draw your're own conclusions......

I wouldnt read too much into the fact that he has fallen out with the manager. Hearts are in turmoil and their owner is a fruitcake Lithuanian banker and I suspect that he perhaps has some kind of appearance based bonus that would kick in soon if he was to play, has been suggested in the press also. He was a first pick with the previous manager and would probably feature in many fans SPL best X1 if he can keep free of injury and recapture his form. Seen him play a few times and he has class. Would be suited to the game down south IMO.

PS - I am not Andrew Driver

Just been watching some SPL highlights on SkySports and while highlights are by their very nature 'selective', there was a lad playing for St Mirren called Kenny McLean who looked freakin awesome. Attacking midfielder, composed on the ball, good passer, big bag of tricks and i can't imagine that St Miren are in a financial position to turn down a decent offer

As for Driver, he seems tailor-made for Del; they'll know each other from oop narth, Driver is a prodigious talent who's lost his way and in need of a fresh start. However, he also seems tailor-made for our physio table, which does seem to be a magnet for the injury prone. I can only presume we have a really fit/really incompetent physio somewhere on the staff!!!
