reddoc
Thought I'd walked into some kind of nightmare parallel universe yesterday. When and why did Forest adopt that as their pre match anthem? Always thought You've lost that loving feeling was their song, which was OK, so what's the story behind this appalling choice, anyone know? I'm guessing drugs , but it was genuinely awful and I'd love to know .
bearded_red
That bloody song really annoys me! Listening to that and watching City lose is what comes to mind when I think of Nottingham ******* Forest! But hey, we won!

That worries me even more then. Always go to Forest and I don't remember hearing that before. So who sings the other one I mentioned or did I just completely imagine that then? Sounds like it's me who should be more careful with the drugs....
The Hippo
Used to do some coaching in the community with Forest when living in Notts so got complementary tickets to a lot of matches. Have to admit a packed out City Ground singing Mull of Kintyre is impressive. Far better than a few people muttering along to One for the Bristol City before the match which happens at the Gate. Mull Of Kintyre / Mist Rolling In is sung before each kick off, You've Lost That Loving Feeling after a Forest goal - hence why you didn't hear it yesterday.
