ChrisBCFC
Glimpses of real quality with his passing, movement and decision making. Slightly concerned that he disappeared for large chunks, especially in the 2nd half.....an slightly concerned that at this level he might get found. But in a 451 away from home he can really be a huge asset.
fenric
Match fitness will help him, as will some willing legs to look for space so he can truly make the play

mightyreds89
We don't have the players for 442 has to be a 433 for me. If we play 442 then Morris was a bad decision especially of his wage could have been used to secure a quality play maker!
Harry
His legs are fine. He was only subbed so he can stay fresh for Saturday. Passed well, did a lot of talking (even in one instance having to tell Fonts where to stand from a throw-in - I know, basics!) He didn't play the true holding midfield role tonight and was often quite close to the front 2 as well as getting wide on a few occasions. He actually put in our best cross of the game when he found some space down the right flank, pulled the ball back, crossed in low to the edge of the 6 yard box, beat the first defender (what more could you do from a cross), and yet we had both of our strikers making the same run to the far post. A natural sniffer would have been in front of his man making a near post run and having an easy finish.

Tbh I don't think Morris will be on that much having just come from a small Scottish side
Jon atyeo is my dad
Must of been watching a different game! Touched the ball 3 times and disappeared. Not saying he's no good but tonight non existent

Frank Reynolds
Too many backwards passes but I thought he did ok in general I have often wondered why people fall into this trap. A backward pass to retain possession is absolutely fine. Would people prefer a hoof up top? I often hear 'GET IT FORWARD' when a player is taking his time and looking at his options. Not the way I'd like us to play the game if we can help it. Knee-jerk reactions are never what is needed, and this forum is unbelievably prone to them. ChrisBCFC
Better than Klikenny. Concerned though with how he disappeared for large patches. Far more concerned with Pearson though who was abysmal.
marcofisher
Pearson seemed to run out of gas by half time, cant believe only 2 subs were made, he should not have finished the game!

Shouldn't even have been in the team, he brings nothing to the team, every single game he does nothing and he gets no abuse whereas Woolford at least tries and he gets all the abuse, not fair at all really. And yet, if they passed it to each other to cry and create an opening, they get similar. People don't seem to understand that we don't have 11 Messi's on the field and that simplicity is key to success.
The Bard
He can't play in a midfield 2. Given that we have 2 fit strikers on our books, Del's decision to play both of them plus Morris made no sense. Albert and Yannick either side of stead on Saturday please with 3 in midfield

Woolford might often not have that final touch but he is moving the ball about well. Pearson however is not a championship player.
Admin phantom Posted August 15, 2012 Admin Share Posted August 15, 2012 Too many backwards passes but I thought he did ok in general Compared to Skuse ?, he seemed to panic everytime he had the ball and passed back to Gerkin... Must of been watching a different game! Touched the ball 3 times and disappeared. Not saying he's no good but tonight non existent Funny on different opinions, I thought that his passing and movement weer good in the first half, but bringing the extra midfielder in for the second half it seemed to affect his impact on the game

Robbored
Morris might as well been not playing on Tuesday. The first time I noticed him was when he was subbed. In fact I wondered who he was as he came off until the bloke next to me mentioned his name. Only one game though, and Del obviously likes him.
