mookey
Well on paper I would say.. yes.. we have lost the whole spine of last years team Woods, Maynard, Cisse and Amoghu(Bikey) and amazingly we have not replaced one of these key positions. I dont see Morris and Cisse as doing the same job. Cisse bossed the midfield. After last night its clearly not just a paper exercise and we all know what worse than last year means! Monkeh
no nowhere near as bad as last year knee jerk reaction over one result on par with otib thats all
ChrisBCFC
Until we replace Maynard the answer is yes. Granted a lot of dead wood has gone, I.e JCR, Clarkson and Mcallister, but we have only replaces lightly and need more players in. If we can get in Wilson, CB and Striker then we will be stronger, until then we are weaker IMO.

Esmond Million's Bung
Nope the worst was after 10 games last season.
Guest MikeB
yes because we have'nt replaced Maynard, other areas are stronger and I believe the team will be stronger just for the fact that Mcinnes has had a full pre season. When we brought AmouGou in we looked solid at the back. Again why have'nt we signed him. I heard the club view him as a risk I did'nt see that risk last season. I saw a player determined to get a team that he was only a loanee to survive the drop, lead by example passionate and a thorough professional. I could'nt imagine a better player in his position available to us realistically right now. I would prefer a winning mentality, determination, and hard worker, over someone highly rated such as keogh anyday, who was overpriced in my opinion. Hogan Emphraim was another great example of this, great attitude and player with a lot of skill, Del did well to get us out of trouble last year, those loans were a huge gamble to some but paid off extremely well. I have faith we will stay up but won't be surprised if we struggle for parts of the season
Esmond Million's Bung
The strange thing is the players most criticised by fans Nyatanga, Woolford, Stewart, Killkenny and Pitman, were not signed by the present manager, significant? oops nearly forgot Gherkin. Carey 6
I'd say we should wait and see, it's too early to judge. Heaton is a good replacement for James. Cunningham will be a lot better than McGivern...(I'd be an improvement on him though) Morris for Cisse, i couldn't say as I've only seen him play twice. Yet to find a replacement for Nicky our top scorer or Amogou who was our best CB last season. Anderson for JCR - Again, i couldn't say, Anderson could be useless too, but lets hope he's brilliant!
