ChrisBCFC
What do we think the team will be tomorrow night? Part of me expects foster to be left midfield protecting Cunningham due to the obvious threat of Zaha. CodeRed
Same keeper Same back four So. Heaton Wilson Carey Fontaine Cunningham Morris Skuse Elliot Adomah Stead Davies On paper, 3 points Probably not far off with this line up but Del can be unpredictable - who thought he would have put Morris on the bench for our first game? So yes Heaton, same back 4, I think Morris will come in as we will want to take the game to Palace, Skuse will play. Pearson didn't have a good game but Del always seems to select him whatever.....Albert has to start on the wing I think he'll go .................Heaton............................. Uncle Albert
Heaton Wilson Carey Fontaine Cunningham Adomah Skuse Pearson Woolford Davies Stead IMO I think that is the worse midfield we could possibly field with the midfielders we now have available. Why we insist in doing so is beyond me! We've signed Morris and Anderson and have Marv back. Morris or Marv in place of Pearson and Anderson instead of Wooly. Just my opinion though. Always Believesham
I would guess Del will go with his 4-5-1 come 4-3-3 and look to bring Davis on if fit GK Heaton RB Foster CB Fontaine CB Willson LB Cunningham RW Adomah CM Elliott CM Pearson CM Morris/Skuse (Morris fit?) LW Woolford ST Stead Think DMc won't play Carey despite a good game on Sat. - just an incling Anderson on for Woolford around the 65-70 mark Davis on for Stead/one of the CMs around the 70-75 mark (depending on result)

Absoloutly right but Del does seem to have strange selection choices so this might well be the midfield lining up tomorrow unfortunately... I agree that with Morris, Elliot and Anderson fit Pearson and Woolford certainly shouldn't be starting.

Cunnyfunt
I'd be surprised to see Davies start, although I'm not saying he won't. I'd like to see Anderson given a good run out on the left with with Albert back on the right and maybe have Morris in a midfield three with Skuse and Elliott/Pearson. Stead/Davies up top. Guest Night84
Getting a bit sick of this lampooning of Woolford. He's looking decent this season and getting into some goal scoring areas, apart from when he gets played out of position at left back, something he does well and without a fuss. No way should Foster be starting ahead of him. I hope Morris gets a start tonight. Is Davies cleared to play tonight?

Monkeh
I've given up second guessing McInnes' team selections, but I would think (hope) that he keeps the same back 5. I'd like to see Adomah and Anderson right and left with Morris and Pearson centre midfield. Up front, I'd like Stead and Davies, but not sure if SD is match fit or not. But that'll probably be far off McInnes' team. Great post that was a major issue with our poor defending for the last few years, we haven't had a settled back four for a long time, if we can have one then we will start shutting teams out
ciderup
I have a sneaky felling it will be a 4-5-1 / 4-3-3. Heaton Wilson M Carey Fonts Cunningham Skuse Morris Elliott Albert Stead Davies I just think we lined up so defensively at Forest that he won't play a 4-4-2 tonight but if he does, I reckon Anderson did enough to get a start tonight so.... marcofisher
Gotta be honest dont think Carey is of the age anymore where he will be fit enough to play twice in 4 days! Time for James Wilson to show what hes about --------------------Heaton----------------------- M.Wilson-J.Wilson-Fontaine-Cunningham Adomah----Morris----Skuse------Anderson ---------------Stead----Davies-----------------

But that'll probably be far off McInnes' team. Me too. He's one of the hardest managers to predict unlike Johnson or Millen. As for Morris and Pearson in midfield that combination failed miserably against the Gills and Morris in particular was awful and eventually subbed before being left out at Forest. He might have been carrying an injury of course. If he goes two top I would expect to see Kolo Skusey back in middle. He is our best midfielder after all. I doubt Carey can manage two games in 3 days at his age but you never know. I can see Foster and Mark Wilson as the full backs and Albert on the right wing but who will be on the left wing and who are up front is anyone's guess. tezOfCity
Heaton Wilson Carey Fontaine Cunningham Skuse Marv Adomah Morris/(maybe Davies) Anderson Stead Zaha will probably play upfront so there needs to be cover in the middle, i would expect skuse to just shadow him tbh, thats what i would do. Can see Davies making an appearance from the bench, either as a straight swap for anderson or stead or perhaps someoone else if we change to 4-4-2. I just hope that: A) del plays adomah on the right/left and not upfront B) He drops woolford and pearson (i like them both but neither are in great form and i see them as squad players really) Score: 2 - 0 City Adomah, Davies Att. 15,384 Lucky draw ticket number: 278633 Free chips before K.O: Tasteless
