WolfOfWestStreet
Great noise tonight! Some great songs and good banter as ever. Do anyone see the surfer flag from the other stands, did it look good? If anyone has a pic would be great to see.

MichaelRobartes
Looked very good from the Atyeo. Scott tweeted about it earlier too: Scott Murray @Scotty_Murray So proud to see the surfer flag of myself in the east end 2nite with the fans singing my name thanks made a great nite even better. Forza Revolution
Looked great from the Atyeo, when it is passed right to the back of the EE however it cannot be seen! Keep up the good work!
SimonL
Especially for Saturdays game can it be passed back more slowly and around the east end. It seemed to disappear after a few seconds.

Club and Country
I usually sit in east end but was in ateyo last night, heard the east end loud and clear throughout the game which was good Surfer looked good, agree though it should be in dolman or ateyo for cardiff, mates a palace fan and he said he saw we had a surfer but no idea what was on it
Sixtyseconds
Should be hung from the roof of the EE directly in front of the South Wales franchisees [formerly known as Cardiff fans].
pigeon
I was in the williams and the only problem was it was quite hard to see because of the low roof... having it on the dolman would surely be the best as it would be on camera and the away fans could see it? WolfOfWestStreet
Even though I like to have it on the EE as a visual effect it would be better going across the dolman/atyeo - maybe KO in Dolman/Atyeo and passed back to the EE for the second half

You Do The Dziekanowski
Ateyo and Dolman first half, at half time lay it on the pitch facing the cardiff fans with murray standing next to it and second half EE has it. Then to top it off chants of Scott, Scott Super Scott Scott, Scott Super Scott Scott, Scott Super Scott Super Scotty Murray for the full 90 minutes

Guest sbred
Couldn't get tickets online for saturday for the EE but could on the phone. The club have said that for certain games you will only be able to buy tickets in the ee over the phone or in person. I can't quite see what difference it makes, but at least you can buy them. chalky
So will it be going across the Dolman? Who decides? Mint picture, look at all the empty seats though. Ho can they say it has sold out when it hasn't? Now they "opened" the stand up fully like any other surely they should allow us to pack it to the rafters? Can anyone shed any light with this situation?

I don't know, and this is just a guess, but the fact that we are allowed to stand in the East End might have something to do with the seemingly reduced capacity. It may be that if it were totally packed the football league wouldn't look kindly upon it.
WolfOfWestStreet
I think when everyone stands close together we're not as spaced out as sitting down, also many people stand up at the back, in the aisles and together round the area by the toilets and kiosk. Not on individual seats Dont think people fancy sitting in the front row

Early days and the more casual support may not know the new arrangements. I will be bringing an extra family member or two this season now along with visiting friends, but an observation is that when youe go online the stand appears to be sold out when it shouldn't be. thatcham red
Have been down at the ground today sorting out risk assessments to surf the flag. It is not that straightforward due to the size and shape of the flag and the Atyeo split in to two tiers across a walkway. Also, the players tunnel has to be "bridged". On top of that the weather forecast is a shocker for tomorrow. If we can do it, we will, but will only know when we get to the ground early and try it for size. A fall back position is to just unfurl it and hold it over one block just so our welsh friends get the picture. We should be able to do the Dolman in the future, but not for tomorrow before anyone asks.

thatcham red
Unfortunately, the surfer flag won't be making an appearance against Cardiff today. Apart from the poor weather forecast, another challenge is the size and shape of the flag and the suitability for the Atyeo stand. It is a 12M deep flag that straddles walkways. Ideally, we will produce the next flag in landscape format so that it will run along a single tier of the Atyeo or the lower Dolman. It will also need volunteers from each stand to step forward to help. I should add that this was my decision, not that of the Football Club to cancel the surf today. So, even more reason to chuck a few quid in the fund to purchase the next flag. We are up to £930, but need nearly the same again to buy the "pride of the west" flag.
