And Its Smith
Why would they sack him and pay him four years worth of wages? That's at least £1m if not £2m.

That is my question, in the real world when you are sacked for misconduct, do you have your contract paid up?.
David Brent
Why would they sack him and pay him four years worth of wages? That's at least £1m if not £2m. They should be able to sack him for his misdemeanours - balls to his contract.
Esmond Million's Bung
To be honest he should be sacked for calling himself a striker, what is it 4 goals in 60 odd games?.

Esmond Million's Bung
When the PFA stop supporting players for everything.. Agree about that, I certainly don't agree with Red Dave's assumption that they would have to pay his contract up, why would they?, I can't understand why they can't just sack him and if the PFA believe he has been hard done by they can pay his wages for the next 4 years or leave him to sue the club. Eco
Just another shrieking S*n headline. Seem to remember a similar one relating to Ravel Morrison recently but he's still at Brum.

So for balance I have attached a few more that might become approved. By the way the story has been taken off of Newcastles website, it's not rocket science, that's how the lazy press work these days. http://www.chronicle...72703-32046154/ http://www.espn.co.u...ory/175133.html http://thenews24.net...-act_54674.html

Most people don't have a set term contract so that doesn't really apply.

Are you sure?, both of my kids do and i'm sure that is not unusual, I would say that is the way the employment world is going, because to be honest it makes employees easier to sack and less redundancy payment.
