CheddarReds
What are your Personal thoughts on Steven Gerrard's performance today against Sweden? I'm not sure how I feel and a few of us are having a debate. Has anyone got any stats?

GodEmperor Palpatine
On a slightly different note, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is top draw.. can be lazy but his skill, intelligence and finishing are second to none. Does it week in, week out for PSG (except for when he's suspended obviously) and in the Champions League. Class player!

Cunnyfunt
I can't believe he only has a penalty to his name against English clubs in Europe. Awesome when he turns it on.

I watch him for PSG, always tries the outrageous. Against Porto a few weeks back he tried some bizarre back flick from outside the area, hit the bar but still just awesome. Taunton_City
In my opinion Osman looked our best player today Yep how has it taken this long for him to get in squad!
joeyb
Thought Osman was very good but Gerrard controlled the game especially in the 2nd half. England were well on top until he went off. SG was linking plays, having good efforts on goal and played his part defensively. Englands MotM IMO. Chivs
He scored for Barcelona against Arsenal in open play. He must have hit the woodwork against English teams surely? Which counts as a goal as I understand it.
Frank Reynolds
2nd best striker in the world The best, falcao I love how you've written this like you've got the inside track on Lionel Messi actually being a bit shit. Falcao is fantastic though. Ibra flatters to deceive but when he's on form, he's unstoppable.

Sorry Chivs. You're getting ahead of yourself. That's pencilled in for introduction in the 2013/14 season.
grifty
I think this goal is far better than the one than against us (which was to be fair fluke!)
Garland-sweden
Messi nr 1 Zlatan nr 2, Gerrard a good footballer. When Caulker left the field the swedes turned the game.
