SecretSam
So, if you broke your derby cherry last night - how was it? Do you feel all grown up or soiled and used?
oahgfafaoy
This was my first derby and I've got to say, it did not disappoint!! Palace semi final has always been my favourite game but last night was definitely on par with that! Great atmosphere, great game and the best result possible! HoldenBall
First derby win, kept the programme and ticket in a nice safe place. Horrible tension. didn't enjoy it one bit, lost my voice and felt hungover and sick in the morning Whats the fuss about us playing the gash? Bristol_South_End
Absolutely fantastic game and a brilliant atmosphere. 2 goals worthy of winning any game too!
nickolas
Only problem is, if only we could generate an atmosphere like that for other games. No excuse cos it was against the Gas, we need more of that support for most other games too!! Decent level to start at and maintain though!! JamesBCFC
Enjoyed it from the start until the end (of the 90) felt both clubs were let down by the 'fans' who were involved in throwing things and causing trouble but enough has been said on that on other threads, agree with nickolas that we should try and get an atmosphere like that for most home games although it won't be matched until a very big game comes along
CheddarReds
Really enjoyed the chanting and the game. Only downer was the odd bt of trouble and a couple people got hurt.
BUTOR
I enjoyed the 90 minutes more than any other City game I've seen, atmosphere just seemed to be on a different class. Was in the Eastend. Even the feel on the streets was different to any other game I've seen before! EDIT: I say the 90 mins because the moments after that came close to ruining the game. TJMFOD
My first derby and it was everything I expected! Was a bit nervous when they scored mind you!
WolfOfWestStreet
Amazing night. Loved it better than anything I imagined. Jumping around with people you don't know in the EE, the dolman actually singing and looking brilliant! The pitch invasion didn't bother me one bit, certainly didn't spoil it for me. I had no intention of going on, purely of the fact that nobody is able to stay upright whilst running on wet grass (especially if you've been balls deep into a keg of natch) which most looked like they had. I love the fact the game had an edge, for me, that's what football is all about.
