downendcity
I had enough when we were relegated and can't win in the league so I'm going to support a big premier league team where I can get success, and now. Arsenal's the team for me with Wenger in charge as they are the only top team not to change manager, but then they lose their first league game to Villa and it was obvious that they would struggle to qualify for the champions league group games this season and to get in the top four at the end of the season, so I'm not sticking with them. Man City it is then. They spent loads of money in the summer and we all know that money buys success, so all systems go for glory, but they blow it by drawing a game which has put them completely out of the title race. I'm a Red Devil next because Man U always win things, but then they lose to Liverpool and have that Moyes bloke in charge, but he's no Ferguson and doesn't seem to known what he's doing, so they won't do anything this season. Only one of the big four left, so blue is the colour as pull on my Chelsea shirt. The special one is back, money spent on new players and the champion league is in the trophy cabinet, so everyone's a winner until we played Everton and lost. That's it - season down the pan, the title is long gone and we will probably get knocked out in the league stage of the champions league. Perhaps a foreign team is the way to go and Spain looks a good bet as its only a two horse race. chose Real cause they loook a shoe in having spent all that on Bale, but what do they go and do? They blow the title by drawing against Villareal. VILLAREAL, for goodness sake - who the fkcu are they !!!!!! We've just handed the tile to Barca and might as well wave good bye to the champions league now. Oh, and what did Bale do to repay our huge transfer fee? You'd expect a hat trick of 20 yard thunderbolts but all he manages is a bundled goal from 5 yards out - what a waste of money.. Hang on. What's that I'm hearing - City beat Rovers in the JPT and in front of a full house? That's the ticket, season going in the right direction, so I'm back. We're by far the greatest team the world has ever seen. SOD's red and white army. Come on you reds. We're goin' to win the league. Fickle? Me? havanatopia
Weston Super Mare and Forest Green; two more options for the ficklers. A double promotion looks a distinct possibility and I like very much the idea of red shirts mushrooming the green faithful forest next season in their new local derby against the Minimal crowd. As for Clevedon?... The less said I reckon.

What luck ! AB, when you do get to the pearly gates you will probably find them using City's hand held ticket scanners, so you have no chance of getting in! cider-manc
When you have BCFC in your blood the only thing that can stop you supporting is a complete blood transfusion. 6 hours I spent on a train on Saturday for that bloody shambles (3 hours on the way back in a carriage that was overcrowded and with broken air-con) ... and yet I know for sure that I will be back as soon as I can. Was discussing with the family at half time. No matter how much pain it causes me, the gate is still my favourite place to be on a Saturday afternoon. downendcity
Downend City certainly did the Gary Johnsons Views From Portugal Tour Diaries - which were very entertaining I was going to do the SOD pre-season tour diaries, but realised that OTIB members didn't want to be bored to death before the season started! 06.30 Woke up. 06.35 Switch on shower and wait 2 minutes 20 seconds before getting in. Getting this right means that the water is always the right temperature and I can never scold myself when I step into the shower. get the process right and you will always have the perfect shower. 7.00 Breakfast - showed the players how to set the toaster to the right setting and to make sure the eggs are boiled for just the right amount of time because if you get the process right then you will always get the right result - perfectly brown toast and a nicely boiled egg. 10.00 Coffee break. Showed the players that if you make sure the espresso is tamped with just the right amount of pressure then it will give a lovely crema on top of the coffee is the club. Also make sure when frothing the mil that you don't overheat it otherwise the milk scalds and spoils the flavour of the finished cappuccino. If you get the coffee making process right you will always get a perfect result when you drink it. 13.30 Lunch. Showed the players how to make proper mayonnaise for their salads by adding the oil in a very slow stream so that it mixes perfectly and without splitting. If they follow this process they will always get a perfect mayo and an enjoyable salad. 15.00 Relaxation by the pool. Explained to the players the way to get a perfect all over and even tan. Use a factor 30 suncream, and sunbathing no more than 15 minutes on the first day and avoiding the hottest part of the day, and extending their sunbathing time by 10 minutes per day. Following this process will ensure they have a good all over and lasting tan. 20.00 Dinner. Showed the players how to get the perfect steak. Make sure the frying pan is hot and with a light film of oil , cook the steak on both sides with about 4 minutes per side for medium/well but then leave the meat to rest for 5 minutes. Following this process will always result in a perfectly cooked and succulent steak. 22.00 bedtime. I explained to the players that they should avoid alcohol or coffee in the evening and get to bed by 10pm . If they follow this process they will get a good 10 hours full and restful sleep every night and be fit and raring to go in training the following day.
