Actually it is hard when you have a disabled friend with you.

Not sure why I should have to move due to the selfishness of others anyway.

Seems like I'm on my own in expecting people to respect their fellow fans, how sad.

Youre so right. My missus and I were in row F (so 6 rows front the front) and three guys decide to stand up in row c and block our view for the rest of the game and yet there was plenty of room behind us! So selfish.

Rather than a forum rant, did you speak to these people, or a steward if 'intimidated' or what not?!

I spoke to those directly in front of us and they did get down, but kept getting back up. There were no stewards anywhere near where we were sitting.

It was just so unnecessary for 6ft-plus blokes to make themselves another 2ft taller to the detriment of everyone behind them. The purpose of my 'rant' was a vain hope that anyone who saw it might think twice, but I suspect I'm talking to myself.

Everybody was stood up across the whole end. If you wanted to sit down people should have gone up the Arkells stand

I enjoyed it to be honest.

No, you've missed my point entirely. I have no problem with everyone standing. My problem was with those climbing up onto the railings (a few feet higher again), thus blocking the view of those behind them, even when already standing.

My legs ache now though. Makes you realize that all these health and safety people know what they're talking about.

In that case I'm sorry to hear and a bit of a shame, despite the loss.

So disabled people cant move then? Pathetic rant

What a hideous thing to say. You have absolutely no idea of the nature of his disability. He has severely limited mobility and at the very least needs an end of row seat because he can't fit his legs in the row easily. His determination just to be there and not let his disability stop him is inspirational. Yet when others needlessly climb on railings and block his view, even though he is already standing, apparently he has to move.

Disgusted by this.
