longyears
Let us be honest. Never mind the whys and wherefores. We are deep in the brown stuff. We are showing relegation form times ten. There is nothing I can see to inspire confidence that things will improve. If you believe they will please post the why and how. What to do I don't know. Not really in favour of sacking SOD but this is a results business and he aint getting them. I think we will join Rovers in Div 4 if we stick with this guy. Does anyone care anymore ? I find myself engulfed by apathy. Please comment preferably without accusing me of not being a true fan. This is the 47th year I have had a season ticket - if you can beat that I will accept your insults !

Fordy62
I'm sorry. Ignore my previous post. I was being silly. In your 47 years, have you known it worse? I suspect that answer is an overwhelming yes. It was worse under Millen and McInnes. Towards the end it was worse under Johnson. The difference at the moment is that at times, we're playing good football. Ok, we can't do it for 90 minutes, but the signs are there. I'm my time, the last 20 years, things have been much worse. And I genuinely believe that things will change under SOD. It would be completely counter productive to get rid.

Under Millen and a McInnes, at least we were in the championship, I have never seen it worse, seeing as 19 league games without a win is a new club record, says it all really mate. cityexile
Lots of games have been woulds, shoulds and coulds this season. The lack of a win is bearing down heavily on the club. Learn how to defend?

Think of it like this, We set that no win record on purpose so we shouldn't go that many games without a league win again and if we do the players won't have the pressure of being the worst side we've had mind games I'm telling you, Mind Games

Agree, it was horrible at times under mcinnes really depressing knowing your to loose before you kicked a ball because certain players were starting, at the moment I'm in the disappointed but hope it gets better soon camp. The Kaiser
I can't beat 47 years as a season ticket holder - primarily because I am handicapped by the fact I haven't been alive 47 years but nonetheless, having followed City since a wee lad with my old man and seen them in lows and highs (mainly lows it seems) - I like to think I speak from a reasonable informed opinion. Now where do I see us - Well yesterday, despite the loss actually gives me a fair bit of hope. I thought we looked dangerous, we could (and should) have scored 3 - we should have buried that chance at the end that hit the cross bar. Now where are we weak? It ain't rocket science - we give too much space and don't follow up the early ball on the re-start. The first goal from a throw in was piss-weak, you don't get caught napping like that and expect to win games. Second goal - we stood off all three players and it was poor. We need to sort the defence out - BUT with the men at the back, I do actually think we will. I had no confidence in Fontaine, he had lost the fans and his confidence was shot through. Flint and O'Connor were better - Moloney and Cunningham are not bad players either. It's a confidence thing and sharpening up for the ball on the re-start. We have a very good player in JET and a goalscorer in Baldock. I think we will be around the play off level this season and maybe just miss out on finishing in them. We won't go down, I think we keep the same set up and players (injury allowing) to what we did yesterday and we'll beat Colchester/
