harvey54
Bristol City suffer a narrow 3-2 defeat away to local Conference rivals Forest Green Rovers. In his post match interview City manager Sean O'Driscoll said he was delighted with the players attitude in the game and that in a ten minute period during the second half City had 82% of possession proving that his efforts to change the players attitude and style of play was continuing to bear fruit. Meanwhile, off the pitch, multi-billionaire Chairman Lansdowne was rumoured to be flying in to Bristol from his Monaco home on Monday to rubber-stamp plans for City's new 7,500 capacity all seater stadium in Weston-Super-Mare. I'm only kidding guys, but that's how it feels at the moment.

fka dagest
What will come first? A winning run under SOD or the return of the Messiah? Both hold out the promise of a bright, wonderful future... Don't forget it's always tomorrow. Just wait and wait.
pongo88
It's all part of the process of supporting City. Long periods of doom and gloom broken up by short bursts of hope and joy.
Tins
Or Bristol City win 3-0 against Championship opposition Middlesbrough to put them 4 points clear at the top of the league. Goals from Emmanuel-Thomas (2) and Sam Baldock continue their form from last seasons promotion heroics. Boss Sean O'Driscoll said he was proud at how the team has continued their form and is especially glad as the team starting was exactly the same as the team who defeated Swindon Town in September 2013. Tins
what drugs you on tins? Well that's the long term plan. It would mean Shorey would be like 36 and O'Connor would still be with us, unlikely but you never know!

megansdad
think Tins vision will be closer to reality than OP, September 2013 win excepted. 2 years on given patience confident outlook is rosy - sure it wont be a smooth ride - but am sure it was not for hargreaves Lansdown either - long term vision is whats needed. I'm only kidding guys, but that's how it feels at the moment. Elsewhere in local football, Bristol Rovers were defeated 1-0 at Nicholas Wanderers in the County League. The match was marred by crowd trouble despite only 20 Wanderers' fans and 200 Rovers fans being in attendance. Chairman Higgs blamed the Wanderers' fans saying 'don't you know we are a family club'. He also promised fans they would move into their new 2000 all seater stadium shared with Soundwell College in the next 25 years.
