dereks no1
We need to rest players and keep our best players free from injury. But it would be great to go far in the cup as its the first run in years. Thoughts on the possible staring 11?
OldlandReddies
Southampton will rest their entire starting 11 from Saturday so who knows. SOD will rest a few of his '1st' eleven too plus injury enforced changes. I expect to see Parish, Carey, Reid, Harewood, Wynter & possibly Burns all involved on Tuesday. Kid in the Riot
vital that we put up a decent showing. No, it's vital we beat COLU on Saturday and this won't be lost on O'Driscoll. He will definitely rest some of his key players tomorrow night. He already said as much on Sat.

westred1
I imagine it'll be something like; Parish Moloney Flint Williams Shorey Wagstaff Elliot Reid Bryan JET Harewood
glynriley
Parish Maloney Flint Williams Cunningham Burns Reid Pack Maclaughlin Harewood Baldock I'd stick with Flint & Williams at the back as they need to learn each others games (no sign of Carey being fit is there??) Give Burns and Maclaughlin a chance to see what they can do. Rest JET , Elliott and Shorey for Saturday.

Maybe a few youngsters on the bench? When I was in the shop earlier picking up my tickets for tomorrow I saw an away shirt with Mafuta printed on the back. Wasn't aware we had anyone of such name in the u21's so googled it thinking I may have stumbled upon a new loan signing, but all I could find was an Angolan defender who I thought was pretty unlikely to be coming on loan! This clears it up.

wayne allisons tongues
Wouldn't like to pick a team tonight let along predict one. Williams came off ht against swindon so is he fit, is wynter fit o conner out, Carey illness. Have we any defenders left. Think at the moment we are not having much luck with injuries look at orient unchanged I think for there 8 games they've played, shows what a settled side can do. Feel sorry for SOD signs players and then loses them to injury, just hope whatever team plays tonight plays with pride and don't get hammered 5 or 6 to nil. For that would well and truly shatter confidence.

GrahamC
Mafuta ex Colchester U18/21 iirc. Not sure who or how or when came here, unless there are 2 Gus Mafuta's? That's the one, had a trial pre season. Presume he then got a contract offer (though it hasn't ever been announced) because he's played in all of the U21 games since. Amadi-Holloway has been used solely as a centre forward since O'Driscoll got here, with Williams, Moloney, Cunningham, Shorey and Brundle definitely fit I can't see him starting at the back.
