EDoubleD
No champ games - no football league show. What a joke. Teams like wolves, us and Sheff utd playing on sat, but they don't want to know. They did one last week for the champ!!! It's a joke. No support for the lower leagues. Good thing the club out the goals on you tube.
Kid in the Riot
Fine finish from Baldock and a good ball from Reid to set it up. I want to see their goal again. I felt Flint could've stopped the cross coming over, it brushed the top of his head, and then as per usual no one closed the goalscorer down. Decent strike, all be it slightly deflected, but again Parish nowhere to be seen. Really not sure about his shot stopping ability yet.

True, yet again he just appeared to watch it go in, maybe he was unsighted again.
wayne allisons tongues
True, yet again he just appeared to watch it go in, maybe he was unsighted again. Took quite a big deflection off someone's leg. From where I was sat it appeared it was going wide till it hit someone, parish had no chance just went straight in off the deflection. bcfcbs20
It ***** me off when keepers just stand there and watch the ball go in without making an effort to save it.
The Enormous Turnip
True, yet again he just appeared to watch it go in, maybe he was unsighted again. Admittedly haven't seen any highlights yet but I'm pretty sure I heard it took a massive deflection and went right inside the post, nothing Parish could have done? oldstandrobin
Totally agree I run a bar till 11pm on a Sat and look forward to getting home with a ham sarnie and a beer and watching manesh and Leroy. Big Brother is watching and outside the Prem, football doesnt exist, will do a sum of attendances one day when bored and see how many people watch Lg 1 2 and Conf. Portland Bill
It wasn't a massive deflection but enough to wrong foot our keeper. From the initial cross one of our defenders had an easy header away, unfortunately his shout probably wasn't heard and Flint? Got there first and glanced it to the back post. Red Homer
That ball from Bobby was Tinnion-esque, albeit on his right foot! Absolute beauty of a ball, and exactly the type of ball Baldock needs
HoldenBall
Surprised no one has mentioned Pack for their goal? Instead of pointing and wondering around without a care in the world he should be charging at that ball trying to block it... Any other manager should be bollocking him in the dressing room, I bet it wasn't even mentioned and he'd be straight in the team again next week He might not of got there but at least make an effort to try and block the ball, no wonder why we're near the bottom with players not willing to take one for the cause.. Welcome To The Jungle
It ***** me off when keepers just stand there and watch the ball go in without making an effort to save it. As a keeper (albeit no where near professional standard) but even the smallest of nicks can cause you do get wrong footed. Like against Oldham, the striker put it through our defenders legs. He had no right to put it to Parish's left, but he did and Parish expecting it to go right was set as such. Still he's the best we have at the moment so best just make do

I don't rate Pack. I just don't see solid contributions. When he did that ridiculous back heeled attempt when we had blokes in the box and almost caused a Tranmere winner..... Well let's just say it's a good job people in our end didn't have air guns...

I seriously can not believe how disinterested he looked when that ball came in his direction, it was obvious the ball was going to be played to him and it was obvious he should be having a shot, pack should be charging at that ball, but nope all he does is point and slowly stroll over there.. stranter
Any other manager should be bollocking him in the dressing room Erm, do we know he hasn't been given a bollocking? Most of City's conceded goals this season seem to have come when the opposition just rub straight through us, often escorted by one or two of our players into the box. Our midfield need to make more tackles and if necessary take a booking for the team. Back to the OPs point, the Beeb totally ignored football yesterday because of no Prem or Championship. There wasn't even final score! A real disgrace by them yesterday. The only live football was on BT Sport, and that was a conference match between Barnet and Cambridge. Today there is Bradford v Coventry on Sky. Very poor by all broadcasters this weekend, they all seem to be heavily covering rugby friendlies and the league world cup. stranter
Maybe, but aren't most of the costs the rights which have already been paid? Also, what happened to the live games of the championship that the BBC used to show?I have cut a very forlorn figure today. No MOTD followed by Football League followed by the football on Sky. I sadly had to go out for the Bradford match, so didn't get to see what looks to have been a cracker. Stupid England internationals.
