North London Red
Only player ever to play for England whilst having the same surname as the club he was playing for at the time? Frederick Blackburn (prize for obscure question of the thread goes to Richwwtk!). Gary Stevens is one of them. Yes, three more to go.
North London Red
For 2 I guessed at Mark Hughes or Tony Adams: both wrong. for 3, Dennis Wise? Yes, Dennis Wise is correct (Wimbledon 1988, Chelsea 1997, Millwall 2004).

Major Isewater
Not football, but a decent riddle I heard yesterday... He who makes it, sells it. He who buys it, doesn't use it. He who uses it, doesn't know he's using it. What is it? Coughing !

You Do The Dziekanowski
Shot in the dark, Moscow? Was thinking Moscow on the fact that they have 5 teams surely two made it to the semis in their history Even though 3 of them are outside the top two divisions
North London Red
London, Glasgow, Madrid, Milan. Belgrade? Lisbon? Shot in the dark, Moscow? Correct answers so far: London (Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea), Madrid, Milan, Glasgow and Belgrade. Moscow isn't one of the nine, nor is Lisbon. Four to go. North London Red
Bizarrely Dundee is one of them. Indeed it is. Dundee United very nearly got to the final in 1984. They won the first leg of their semi final against Roma 2-0, but very controversially lost the second leg 3-0 amid bribery allegations (link here http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/jim-mclean-admits-feels-sick-1097937 ). Roma progressed to the final and lost to Liverpool on penalties (the 'Grobbelaar's wobbly knee impression' final).
