Dynamite Red
Anyone got any tips for parking nearby and a pub near the ground? Seems to be in the middle of nowhere.
CiderCraig
Parking.at the.ground is limited, but there are plenty of 'units' (business parks close by) where you can park without a problem. and then a very short walk!.
westonred
There's not really any pubs within walking distance but they have a good sized bar at the ground
xerox6060
Takes about 40 mins if walking from the centre / seafront, or similar distance from train station, trains back to Bristol at 22.02 or 23.17.

ciderbeans
Oldmixon cresent industrial estate is just down the winterstoke road. Plenty of free parking there and only a 5 min walk from the woodspring
Admin phantom Posted July 8, 2014 Admin Report Share Posted July 8, 2014 There's not really any pubs within walking distance but they have a good sized bar at the ground As you go into the bar, the one on your right is the smaller of the two - recently refurbished so a nice smart little bar, probably holds maximum baout 100. A larger bar is also available (normally you enter the ground) this can hold about 1500 people. Weston treating this as a big game - they've even hired out a second burger van in anticipation of a large crowd

I thought the train station was much closer to the ground than that? There is also parking in a residential estate over the bridge 5 mins walk from ground. Alternative, at the roundabout (beginning of Winterstoke Road) McDonalds/Pizza Hut/Blockbusters As for pubs if driving in stop at "The Bucket & Spade" ,1st roundabout off J21 M5, en route.
