B-Rizzle
So after some very good transfer dealings in the close season we start the season away at Sheff Utd, arguably one of the strongest sides in the league. We have a terrible record up there but is this the time for a change? All hype aside, how do you think we'll get on?
JammyOne
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best. I think we'll lose if I'm honest; we're playing away and they probably have the better team overall.
marksy
It's the first game of the season and I'm looking forward to three points but will settle for a draw.

redsquirrel
all depends on the weather, i think if it is mildly warm and sunny, we will cane them but cold ,hot or raining and we will struggle to take a point

pride of the west
Our defensive third hasn't been tested all summer. If United come out all guns blazing I can see us suffering from shell shock and being a couple down very early on. Time will tell but it's a worry. 5 or 6 games in I think we will be fine but I really can't see us being up to speed at the back.
RedM
I can't honestly see us getting anything up there. Will be just glad to get that game out the way then get on with the season. I do hope that if we don't come away with anything that the forum won't go onto meltdown, surely we've learnt our lesson on that front?

Who Are Rovers?
2-0 loss. They are a solid unit at the back, but losing Maguire was a huge loss, although they have quality League One replacement. They seem short for goals up front, but with their new signing today, as well as Jose Baxter, that is still a quality force in league one.
Nick Wilde
Gotta feeling we will play well, It will be like 2-2 then in the last few minutes the Blades get a goal and that seals the game. Hope i'm wrong.
OldlandReddies
One positive....for us that is.......They have just lost their best player for the last few seasons centre-back Harry Maguire who they will miss bigtime and will find hard to replace.
