timothy bird
Have been given a 5 year lease on Edgar street and will return to competitive football next season. Congratulations should go to their supporters trust for their hard work and to Hereford City council for making the right decision. A triumph for genuine fans against asset strippers! 'Orns
Excellent news My Aunty, who first took me to Edgar Street as a 5 year old (Dad's side are all Hereford) was diagnosed with cancer today, but this is all she wanted to talk about, bless her
timothy bird
That's so sad woodsy hope she recovers. Maybe the you tube video Hereford United we'll never die will cheer her up even more.

sglosbcfc
Glad they are back, maybe some league clubs could play pre season friendlies there to boost their coffers.

Port Said Red
we usually play them ! Yes a nice pre-season friendly, we usually take a few, would put a bit of cash in their coffers for the start of the new season.
BCFC Jordan
Fantastic news. What division will they be in?
timothy bird
They could be as low as the midland alliance, but their hoping to make a case that their away support will be so big that it will be to chaotic for clubs in that league to cope with! Their hoping for the division below southern league prem which is Chippenham, Yate i think

Thanks Tim - hopefully one of her grandchildren have shown her, she is mid 80s so the technical thing has kind of passed her by! When she's feeling better I'll make sure I show her the vid when I see her next
Guest Cider Jaaarn
Big rivals of ours over the years, quite a lot of bad feeling. Even so it's good to see them back in business, never like to see a club go out of business because any football clubs means a lot to some good people. YorkshireSection
Excellent news, nice club, nice supporters They used to have a very tasty little group of not so nice supporters back in my day. I really hope they climb back up through the leagues, always a good away trip, one day they may get to play the mighty Bristol Rovers, the Giants of the non league! Guest Mahatma Coate
In a related subject it would be good to help the reforming Salisbury FC in their battle to secure tenure at the old club's ground. https://www.change.org/p/wiltshire-council-and-the-trustees-of-the-raymond-mcenhill-trust-save-our-stadium?forumid=725328
Aizoon
Good luck to them, and special congratulations to Hereford Council. Great to see a council having the interests of its local football club at heart, unlike a certain local council I could name.
Guest Mahatma Coate
Could be an interesting set up if Salisbury try getting in as well bit remote for Whites to be honest. If they survive they'll be Wessex League or possibly Southern League.
