Snufflelufagus
Well just two home wins in the championship this weekend. So its not just us not winning at home. Is there something more to this ie away teams happy to sit in and counter attack? Could be less pressure on the away team? Also a similar situation in the prem. Could emphasis the need for fast players on the break. Thoughts

Could emphasis the need for fast players on the break. Thoughts Definitely a trend. Lots of teams seem set up to absorb pressure and counter quickly. The expectation for the home team to take the game to the visitors doesn't actually work for some sides now. We would seem to be a good example of this; we have already seen numerous times how our attacking style at home can leave us fatally exposed to the counter attack. It may not be a coincidence that our best result so far this season came away from home.
Slack Bladder
I noticed Burnley played a similar game to Leeds the other night, only better.
MATT BCFC
We just need to defend better. It's very disappointing we conceded two from corners yesterday that's basics and has nothing to do with being at home.

And at the other end set play that went in last season haven't done so for us this season so far. Results will improve i'm sure. (Still need some players though). Offside
I think lots of teams are becoming more effective at setting up to counter attack away from home (not just in this league - Sheffield Utd did it to us last season). Having said that, Burnley didn't really pose us many problems on the counter yesterday - our undoing was poor decision making up front and poor defending from those corners. Orbital
Interestingly, out of eleven fixtures yesterday, nine were away wins. I can't remember ever seeing such a high ratio.
Snufflelufagus
Also in the prem all season there has only been 7 home wins with 17 away wins.
dunsteral
Ex Premier League team it has been widely agreed that city played some really good football yesterday, and were undone by 2 set pieces, but don,t forget that burnley were a Premier League team last season and we were a 1st division team. So lets see the positives, and be confident (or hopeful whichever camp you are in) that steve cottrell, as he did last season, has the know how to sort it out.
