CiderHider
I think the lads (and staff) should learn basic French, you know to help Kodjia settle in and feel more at home.It will help his English and build friendships and bonds, and on the pitch too. Once semi fluent in French the boys could talk in French on the pitch thus deceiving the opponents ? And why not anyways, training must get boring, leaning another language is great and who knows, it might just enable us to attract some more talent from France? We could be the le Arsenal of the Champions *soon to be Premiership*
ZiderEyed
So pour money into getting 20 ish people to learn a new language? Many of whom will likely not have the ability (they are footballers after all) to get anywhere with it, all to help one player bed in?
Lordofthebling
Why not just get the lads to read some of Robboreds posts over the years, most of them are in a language I don't understand - could be in French I guess...?!

EmersonsRed
I'm led to believe Flint arranged a few French lessons as soon as he signed, top class if my source was correct.

Abraham Romanovich
I'm led to believe Flint arranged a few French lessons as soon as he signed, top class if my source was correct.I don't think any of our players could communicate with a foreign player in their own language. Maybe Joe Bryan, if we ever play someone who speaks Latin.
