TITLE WINNERS.

PLAYOFF WINNERS.

20TH & 21ST.

Harsh world, this Championship malarkey.

Fresh from our latest defeat - and even before the latest #GOTIB15to16CPL table has been released - we're faced with a chance to get back to last season's ridiculous successes.

Ignore the fact that we're playing the one of the two teams we didn't manage to beat...

Updated table is coming, but no rest for the wicked as they say.

I like to point out that for the first time ever I have predicted an opposition win against us. Previously I have not wanted to tempt the prediction gods and tempt fate. But, on reflection, I see that we've been pretty useless anyway. So I'm just going for the glory of prediction victory.

Reading 1 Derby 2 btw

(PS RedYoshi, I have with this post changed my prediction from the poll from 1-3 to 2-3 prior to Kick Off... all other answers remain the same including stealing the coin. Can I then hand the coin over to you for an extra point?)

I may have gone a bit mental here...

P.N.E 2-4 CITY

(1-1)

1st half

Kodjia 27' - jinking run by Freeman opens things up for Bryan, who cuts it back to Kodjia about 15 yards out. Slammed into the roof of the net emphatically with what is our first shot on target.

Garner 36' - Undone by another set piece, this time a free kick, as we fail to clear it properly and the insufferable Garner tucks it in clinically with a bobbling toe-poke.

2nd half

Cunningham 50' - All hope seems lost as we get hit on yet another counter, this one finishing with Cunningham in acres of space on the left, rifling it in across Fielding and then celebrating with a choreographed routine involving an imaginary bench and some sarcasm.

Freeman 72' - A fine performance capped with a fine goal to get us back level. Edge of the box, Wilbraham finally manages to control a one touch lay off, Freeman unerringly curls a peach into the GK's top right corner with his left instep. Equally choreographed routine involving a head high karate kick, an imaginary red card, and some more sarcasm.

Kodjia 74' - Two games, four goals. For once we manage to effect a successful counter attack, this one coming immediately after Preston's kick-off. Kodjia receives the ball just outside the centre circle in their half, bursts past the only defender, and sends a delightfully dinked finish over the keeper. Stunned silence from the home crowd - a cupped ear from Kodjia.

Bryan 88' - Demonstrating exactly why Cunningham had to put up with the bench for so long, our Joe shows incredible fitness and commitment to start the move just outside our own box with a tackle, spread the play, and then finish it off at the far post as Reid plays him in.

Everyone goes mental, and all the fans in the ground agree that it was much more fun down in League One.

I have been trying to post on here with my wildcard score since before the game kicked off.  I have finally been able to submit the post I edited, before kick off, but feel free to ignore my scores tonight if I have broken any rules Yoshi.

I was also only just able to lock this thread, not sure what was going on with the forum this evening.  I've tried on 3 different devices.
