Aizoon/Horace.. fyi and sanity

Its been a tough start to this seasons much anticipated and looked forward to elevation and foray into the big boy realm of the Championship.

Last season we had things pretty much all our own way, with just a few little blips along the way to keep things interesting the eventual promotion was an almost forgone conclusion, outright league winners going up as League One Champions became an expectation and so it proved to be.

After years of bitter disappointments, suddenly life for Bristol City supporters finally felt good, we loved it, felt almost infallible life was good, we enjoyed a strange feeling of well-being. Confidence became the norm, an easy second nature, we looked forward to hitting the Championship running, hoped to have a few fresh recruits and hoped for a little more of the same, we felt in good shape.

So far as we all know things haven't gone exactly to plan, and while there are few signs of panic yet, and we mostly all feel things will come good sooner rather than later never the less the journey has been distinctly second class, the opposite of the club class/business class that we got so used to last year.

While things are/have been decidedly less comfortable for us battle hardened Ashton Gate veterans this year, I know we will ride this out, I'm a liitle more concerned for some of our more sensitive possibly less robust supporters, I fully expect Horace's hackles to be raised slightly, probably and understandably he's feeling a bit more pr ic kly than normal right now.

With this in mind, and just incase things get even tougher before this seasons fortunes finally come good I've taken the liberty of researching and seeking out what I feel could be an ideal place of respite, a place where if needed Horace, with you help, can regroup his thoughts, recharge his batteries, sharpen his pri ckl es etc..

In the event rehabilitation, respite, convalescence etc begins to appear like a good idea for Horace's health, wellbeing and sanity I hope the provided link may be of some use to you should the situation arise and become necessary... Like I said we can ride out the tough times, confident that we'll once again turn the corner as BCFC always does, we always believe... but I fear Horace may not be able to cope quite as well, excitement last winter deprived him of much needed hibernation, he's can tough old hog but he must have his limits..

So check out the link, maybe a battery charging change of scenery will be welcome in the coming months leading to the January window.

Horace thanks you from the bottom of his *****les but, having visited *****ly Ball Farm with Aizoon, he feels that it should be reserved for hogs less fortunate than he.

Should City's form not pick up, hibernation might seem an attractive option. However, H is sure that this is a temporary blip and that the lads will be riding high by Yuletide.

COME ON TOU REDS <•¥¥.
