If that was the reason he gave the club, we are somewhat generous letting him go when he asked.

No doubt there is a genuine and more significant reason behind this which is none of our business. Unless it involves several dead bodies, black bags and a patio.

Did we ever find out what his alleged "personal issues" were? I suspect that was a diplomatic way of saying that he thought our club was amateurish and he wanted out as quickly as possible!

I hardly think some 19 year old (or however old he was) third teamer from Spurs is gonna suddenly think he's bigger than our entire football club

Disagree.  The issue will have been squarely with the player, his likes, dislikes and inability to adapt from being away from his Mum or inability to forge positive relationships etc.

Anything else he would have had to put up or shut up in the short term.

I'm going with Cyril's alternative theory. This is much more fun

In my opinion, it looked a very simple one - he didn't look like he wanted to be here so decided to leave/was shown the door as a result. Thought it from day one, didn't look remotely bothered, didn't seem to have formed any kind of relationships with any other first team players, looked to be a chore for him to be turning out for us on a match day. That's how it came across to me at least

Fighting with Little on the training ground, according to someone at the Gate on Saturday.

I heard that Flinty lamped him !!

Juicy....when do we play Fulham? I guess we may be able to deduce something from the post / pre match greetings between the 3 players....
