Spike
Could anyone help me out with this? I've been looking for some actual pictures of the full kit from 96/97, our centenary kit and I just cannot find any, maybe I'm bad with google or they are actually hard to find but I want to get a picture of the shorts and socks so that I can recreate the kit for PES 2016. If anyone has any pictures, preferably closer up images of the short and socks, or even the full kit I would really appreciate if you could share them with me, cheers

Spike
Cheers man, I found these but I own the shirt so I'm good with that, the problem I have is with the shorts and socks, the historical kit thing I've seen but it doesn't really have the details I need to see on it. Odd how such a historical (and very nice) kit is so hard to find pictures of.

Curr Avon
The thing about City's 1997 'Centenary Year', was that it was historically incorrect. City were formed in 1894 as Bristol South End. The club only changed its name in 1897.For example, Manchester United were formed in 1878, as; Newton Heath LYR (Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway): http://ir.manutd.com/company-information/history.aspx. And Manchester City started life as St Mark's Church in 1880; https://www.mcfc.co.uk/the-club/club-history (scroll to the bottom of the page). The name change was due to a merge between 2 clubs that became Bristol City. Bristol South End and Bedminster FC. That happened in 1897.
handsofclay
No, Bedminster and Bristol City amalgamated in 1900. Bristol South End simply changed name to Bristol City in 1897 upon joining the professional Southern League. Therefore, 1897 has nothing to do with the formation of Bristol City which occurred in 1894, Bristol South End, or in 1887 as Southville who became Bedminster in 1890.
