City v Boro Jan 16th Supporting CHSW

Recommended Posts

This Saturdays big game v Middlesbrough is not only huge for the club but also big for another reason.

Firstly I would like to thank you all for you very generous donation to CHSW from the funds remaining after the lost 100 pound and Oskars ball, it will go towards creating such happy memories for all the families that use our Hospice.

As part of Bristol City first team charity of the season ambassadors Steve Allen (first team physio), Frank Fielding, Scott Murray, Donna Venebles and Adam Baker have worked their magic to make this game a CHSW supported fixture.

The side will be lead out by two children who have use the Children Hospice in Wraxall and the players will be wearing the CHSW t-shirts to warm up in. On top of that you will see CHSW collectors who will be very grateful to take you spare change, you will also see collection tins at all concession stands. It is our 25th anniversary this year and are looking to spread the word of what they do which is supporting families with children who have life limiting conditions children who will not reach adulthood. We have sold around 60 tickets for the game and really hope all Bristol City supporters can get behind CHSW and help them celebrate their birthday with a nice 3 point win over high flying Boro.

We also have a banners and T-shirts if anybody wanted to show their support further by popping this up for the game.

A round of applause on the 25th minute would amazing!!!!!!!!

More information can be found here - http://www.chsw.org.uk/ or please do email olly.slym@chsw.org.uk if you want to help in any way possible.

Thank you so much!!!!

Thanks Olly, hopefully the cheque has now arrived with you.

Will pin this thread nearer to the game, sometimes we find if things are pinned right away, then people don't always realise they're there.

Please come back and let us know how much is raised on Saturday, and if there is anything in the future that us fans would be interested in. CHSW do so much amazing work, and this rightly needs to be recognised and celebrated.
