screech
Are both injured still? Haven't seen anything of them for a while and I can't see anything on the OS regarding this?

Haven't seen anything of them for a while and I can't see anything on the OS regarding this? Williams struggling with dodgy hamstring. As for Ayling, my money is on a bit of post-Cheltenham races disciplinary!!

CheddarReds
I think more than anything they're both out of favour. Neither offer enough as full backs or centre backs in this league, especially compared to what we have at the moment. At centre back neither are strong enough or good enough in the air, at full back neither are quick, think both need to be better in 1v1 situations and Williams distribution in particular is nowhere near the standard of Bryan or Golbourne. That's not to say I don't apppreciate what they have done for the club, they were both vital in last years back 3 but unfortunately in this league I'm not sure what they are and whether they are up to it. Hopefully I am proved very wrong and they have a brilliant end to the season!
Davefevs
Think Ayling's heading ability is under-estimated.....good post above though.
bristolcitysweden
I think Derek Williams has been doing very well. Harsh.
