And Its Smith
Trundle seems to get a kick from playing at a level far too low for him and tearing it to shreds. Each to their own.

yardy
Quality! He has been banging them in for Merthyr apparently. Scorer of the best goal i have ever seen at Ashton Gate, think it was his 2nd against Scunny.

Scored a hat trick in added time when coming on for his debut, also got another hat trick in seven minutes. That penalty was one of six he scored in a charity game. Over 40 and still enjoying it at a decent semi-pro standard. Wasted his talent here under GJ who had no idea what to do with him. Ah my bad! I think its a shame he didn't grace the Premier league, unbelievably skillful but maybe not the athlete you need to be to play in a top European league. i love having a maverick type of player in the city team, you just need to build the team around these type of players which GJ didn't do. redysteadygo1
Played with Bobby Williams ex Bristol City ( no not "Shadow" Williams ) in the late 70s and he did exactly the same. On the few occassions he did it the referee disallowed the goal. Back in them days though you could not interupt your run up to take the penalty. Offside
Great stuff. It's a shame things didn't really work out for him at City.

Marina's Rolls Royce
Amazing! Sort of reminds me ( in terms of trickery) of when goalkeeper Andy Dibble held the ball in one hand to make a goal kick and striker Gary Crosby who was behind him sneaked around and headed it out of his hand and then tapped it in to an empty net- goal allowed. It used to be that the keeper had to have two hands on the ball but doesn`t it now say something like `have the ball under control`? As an aside has anyone got any footage of George Parris v the g*s?
