Worth a read..?

Like many fans of our club, it's fair to say that this seasons emotional roller-coaster has involved far more downs than ups, but all things considered, it's worth remembering that our club is actually still in a really good place - when we get it right, we have a stadium and facilities that enables us to compete at the very highest level. For me, its worth remembering that Managers and players will come and go but our club will always be there.

Don't underestimate SL, he certainly isn't stupid, you don't get rid of Managers including a double trophy winning one for nothing, he will act as and when its right to do so.

Whether LJ was a poor appointment remains to be seen, whilst I never wanted him, to be fair he started really well, and like many, I was impressed by what he brought. Okay, we've been on a poor run since but by now going three matches unbeaten, we've gladly stopped the rot and it's looking probable we stay up. ST sales and end of season morale seem destined to decide if managerial changes are made at season end,

I too have been incredibly frustrated and as a ST holder of over two decades, I chose not to boo, I simply stayed away for a couple of games, I pay my money and I take my choice.

All I'd say though is that it's worth remembering that there will always be ups and downs and that the cycles will continue, but remember that the players and managers will one day disappear, and possibly very soon, but through thick and thin, we will always be here to support OUR Club.

When even life is temporary, is it really worth getting down about a missed chance or an opposition coming back well to earn a draw, nah, for me it's now time to get behind the lads and to think positively me thinks - I'm fed up with feeling fed up so it's time to turn a leaf and look forward to whatever that journey might bring!!?

Please, no more infighting, life is far too short and I for one would much rather be smiling - COYR..

I like it but don't get comments like supporting our club and then missing games?  You don't have to boo just because others are.

Do what I do - find somebody younger, smaller and placid looking who is booing and tell HER to sut the f up :P

7-1 at Northampton. Please don't wipe away the memory of a Glyn Riley goal at 5-0.

3,318 at the Gate vs Torquay that day, if you're thinking of sept 1982 - we haven't had a lower league crowd I don't think...or was home to Millwall in 1982 under 3k? Might have been...

Understand Neo, just felt like I needed a break mate and as I travel a fair distance, felt a break was as good as a rest, the enthusiasm has returned though and I've just received my Newcastle tickets so hopefully it's an enjoyable weekend..
