I'm not worried about Abraham. I think we have enough in Djuric and Taylor and to be honest would rather us focus on developing our own for next season.

A little injury to Tammy might be a good reason to send him back to Chelsea without damaging the relationship.

Are you serious?

He's scored 18 of our 42 league goals this season - we'd undoubtably be in the relegation zone without his goals.

There is no scenario where Tammy going home early is anything but negative for us.

But we know Taylor's got a hamstring problem. I suppose if he can't play we'll have Djuric up front on his own, ie revert to the tactics we had in our losing run. 4-4-2 seems to be the only way we get any success but LJ doesn't seem to want to stick with it.

If both Tammy and Taylor are injured for any length of time, then any decision to loan out Engvall would be ridiculous.

Personslly I don't think we have a bloated squad, we have numbers to cover injuries, suspensions etc.  Don't get me wrong we aren't strong in some areas, but this is the first season of the new rules, and we shouldn't be taking risks by loaning players out.  That will upset those not getting into the 18, but that's the rules.

The rules don't help any clubs soars from those who have stockpiled enough players to not care.  It doesn't help the lower league clubs with small budgets and small playing staff.

Cannot agree with this.

100% we NEED Tammy back fit and firing for the rest of the season.

The big clubs have no interest in helping the lower league clubs .

They barely exist except for the occasional inconvenience of having to play your reserves against one in a cup match .

What is astonishing is that hardly any clubs go to the wall .

How do the likes of Bury , Colchester, Gillingham etc survive ?

My understanding is Taylors hamstring is manageable with meds but will need rest to fully recover.

Hard to know what's going on with England. Maybe we will have a recall? I'm sure someone said we had one for Mccoulsky so maybe he'd be an option if we end up with more issues.

Mccoulsky just signed a new deal too.

Wonder if that is with one eye on the Tammy situation...

I believe we have a recall McCoulsky because it is at a non-league club.  I'm not sure what the definition of non-league is, e.g. Is it Conference and below?

Not sure about inter-continental loans?

A recall outside of the English transfer window wouldn't be available for any potential loan to Sweden as Fifa recognise international loan deals as being a standard transfer registration (i.e. the registration of Gustav Engvall would be fully transferred from Bristol City/the FA to the loaning Swedish club/the Swedish football association in the same way it would if he was sold to a Swedish club).

Don't worry he suggested we send Tammy back after Duric scored against Rotherham !!!!

Laughable

Simply laughable

I know it sounds a bit nuts but unless we've got a chance of getting him on a perm (which we havent) I'd rather see us develop our own.

Yes he's been massive for us this season, but did most of that before Taylor and Djuric. We need to look forward now.

I'd rather us focus on staying in the division first

With all due respect.

I don't think an injury, however small, to any player could be a good thing. Abraham has done well for us and I hope he's OK. To us it's entertainment, to him it's his career.

Yes hes got to be having a laugh we would be relegated already if it wasnt for Tammys goals although duric works his socks off i dont see him being as prolific as Tammy

I wonder , if we had loaned Engvall instead of buying him , whether he would have been given more of a chance?
This is not a dig at LJ, though that would be easy and I'm seriously past it, but a serious thought.

We now have one striker having a scan, another with a hamstring problem, another not capable of 90 mins and yet we seem on the verge of sending a £2m purchase out on loan leaving Duric and the young lad on loan at Bath. Hope the news is good.

We would at this juncture. However Taylor and Djuric are not exactly doing bad in front of goal; scoring or assisting.

Don't get me wrong, sending him back is lunacy and unjustifiable... but, he'd be on my bench currently and for the foreseeable. I'd be playing 2 up top, 2 in good form, 2 who would genuinely suffer relegation over him, for sure.

If I read this comment right 29 - an awful comment IMHO

Im not sure I could make a massive case for any of our players who have 'given more' than TA this season (And I'm referring to effort / attitude not his goals)

I've said before - I find his whole attitude to us and his loan a breath of fresh air in the modern game

You do of course realise that, if you are serious, in the current circumstances & due to recent events it looks like you would very well have to drive him there yourself?? :)

The most ridiculous post I have read in a long time on here and that takes some doing... even more bizarre than some of tommys vodka fuelled rants.

Well the one who some people suspect is Kachina on the fb page is saying it's a tear and he's out for 8 weeks. 4 weeks rest and 4 weeks physio. Chelsea dealing with the injury not us.

If that's the case Chelsea I think will draw a line under it.....shit creek, here we come.
