Major Isewater
How often does one incident change a whole season for a club ? I still think we would have gone up as Champions instead of runners up to Watford if we hadn't sold Goater to Man City . Can you lot think of other pivotal moments ? Eddie Notgetinya
The moment this year when we decided to shelve plans to sign a RB despite how weak we are there. Fast forward a few weeks and Little is out for a month and we're relying on young Zak and Matthews who hasn't really cared since he came back. samo II
Conceding twice in two minutes away to Wolves, ending up losing 2-1 to them in March 2013 - they were an atrocious side, managed by an utter clown, yet we couldn't hold on for what would have been an important win, and the team looked absolutely broken after that. Still believe that even though SO'D was hardly our finest ever manager, had we managed to put away Wolves that day, we'd have stayed up. Worst capitulation I've seen from us, and I've seen a few - started the downward spiral that Cotts dragged us out of, for which I'm ever thankful to him. ...
Two biggest moments for me:- 1) Not sacking Johnson at the start of January; 2) Not sacking Johnson when he broke the club losing record. Two game-changers right there. tfj

Stead getting injured was a big blow in that season but that game was the final nail in the coffin, I accepted we were going down after that. Northern Red
On a positive note, the Carey/Orr fight against Northampton which led to the latter being sent off had the effect of galvanising us. We went on to win that game and got on the promotion trail after an indifferent start to the season.

Peter O Hanraha-hanrahan
Beating Gillingham 2-1 at home after trailing 1-0 in Feb 2014. 6 more points were gained in the 9 days that followed with away wins at Shrewsbury and Posh and we went from looking like clueless relegation certainties to a pretty decent side for the rest of the season. 054123
Not signing Dele Adebola. Second in the league and comfortable. He was the missing piece. we wolouldnt offer him two years. Adebola came when we were in the top 2 in 2007-8, but it's fair to say his introduction actually changed our shape and play. And not neessarily for the better. It was a couple of seasons later that he left because we wouldn't offer him 2 years rather than 1. Carried on playing well in the Championship for another 2 years... Just with someone else! How about beating soon to be European Champions, Liverpool 2-1 in April/May 1977, that meant we had a chance to stay in the old 1st Division. Which we did, with the help of Jimmy Hill delaying the kick off at Coventry....
Sniper
SL this season going for Quality over Quantity and spending some serious dosh. Unfortunately not backing it up with a proven manager to get the Quality properly organised and motivated, we should not be looking at the L1 trapdoor once again! BobBobSuperBob
Still maintain getting rid of GJ was a big mistake (Accept that might not be a widely held opinion) For me , that was the time (Post Home Park) to back the manager and for SL to tell the players , if they wanted out to see him in the morning and he'd arrange it
