cheshire_red
This would be mine Bristol City obviously Arsenal - Away First game of the season a chance to see the Emirates and reminisce about that great day at Highbury Bath City - local Derby great City and reward for their Supporters Trust Burton Albion - watched a lot of lower and non league games there, soft spot for the Brewers Cardiff City - Banter and my most hated club, for 30ish years we never lost in the League, bad few years recently but in a dream division we stuff them home and away Carlisle United - weekend in the Lakes and a tour of Southport Red's very own Appleby brewery Clitheroe Town - old stomping ground lovely area of Lancashire next to the Trough of Bowland and a great chat up line claiming to be from there Congleton Town - spent many an evening watching The Bears Crewe Alexandra - another old stomping ground and Nantwich is a good night out Derby County - a lot of mates support them and it is one of the better real ale Cities Dumbarton - My Scottish team chosen for the nickname Sons of The Rock and at the time played at Boghead Park whilst all schoolmates chose one of the old firm (mainly Celtic due to European Cup success (we had no idea of Religious overtones) Elgin City - Great little City and a tour of a few Distilleries Everton - love the old ground and a visit before they move Exeter City - Good little open end, nice club and localish derby Inverness Caledonian Thistle - for a weekend away in the Highlands Hearts - for a weekend away in wonderful Edinburgh Liverpool - just because they do actually acknowledge and clap a good away performance Newcastle United - what a weekend away and can fly, and back without getting off apparently Norwich City - nice traditional ground, great City, good pubs and beer Nottingham Forest - several supporting mates (rest of em are dicks) very good pubs and real ale (are we still barred from Hooters before the game?) Preston North End - Good set of fans and a weekend in Blackpool (can't give the Oyston's any money) Torquay United - Just to stay with friends in Totnes for the weekend Tottenham Hotspur - Favourite London Club but would prefer if it was White Hart Lanes last season York City - Great City for a weekend away with loads to do, great pubs (a good friend owns four locally) got drenched in the open end last time FA Cup game
Septic Peg
In no particular order: Bristol City - obviously Exeter City - I used to live down the road and were my local team for a while Exmouth Town - as above Spurs - my Prem team (if City ever go up, Spurs can swivel...) Bournemouth - Mother's family originally from here Cheltenham - Johnson Cup Man U - so we can dick them like we did Liverpool Preston - good fans Coventry - friend of mine is Coventry. Would be great bants. Wycombe - because they hate Rovers as much as we do Blackpool - Colin Daniel party plus can give the Oystons a mouthful QPR - so Skeletor can get a mouthful Grimsby Town - good fans, great chants, hate Darrell Leeds - for the history Orient - need as much support as possible Cardiff - for the history/Severnside derby Notts County - 1st opposition I ever saw Rangers - my Scots team FGR - think they've done amazing Salford City - I hate Man U but appreciate 5 ex players buying the club and helping it as much as possible Wimbledon - shows the strength of fan power Ipswich Town - would be interesting to see Mick in the flesh Fulham - always seem to get a result at the cottage Torquay United - saw them at the gate years ago. First game I ever saw with me old man Didn't pick Rovers as would want them in the cup...
