Here you go @BobBobSuperBob , full match video from Birmingham. 4-0 demolition and we went top, pretty much as good as it gets.
The video isn't the best quality, moved from Betamax to VHS many years ago, but you can make out what's going on. Nice comments by the commentator about our lot at the end, over 4,000 I believe.

Big big City following that day...the whole season in fact....lots of CSF boys stood at back of stand whole game, never moved, as i recall.

Birmingham only conceded 5 at that point in the season?

got back to my car  smashed rear window just had that new car 1 week into new job   ,    Don't think we have beaten the Brummies since that day !?

We beat them three times in a year after that match - 3-0, 0-1, 3-0....Nov '92 to Nov '93...

It went bang off in the home stand just before half time, took the police a good 5 mins to get any sort of order.

Was that the stand to our right?  Think our lot got the better of that one.

Its not like it used to be

They kept us locked in for ages after the final whistle...all that did was give the Brummies time to get into position outside, toxic atmosphere in the streets, but 0-4 so sod 'em!

Yes, the away end was to our left. We certainly did!

One of my favourite ever games. Totally unexpected result on the pitch  but probably fully expected off the pitch.

Shame we've got over it but West Midlands Police haven't.

Like a war zone outside afterwards mind, the natives definitely weren`t happy! Police helicopter complete with searchlight buzzing around and all.

Ahh that search light.  It was 15 yards to right as I was getting a right kicking....I was thinking I am over 'ere mate.  In my top 5 away days.

Bolton away topped it when they opened up the next terrace which put us right next to their fans.  Of the charts atmosphere.

Got back from there and had a house party up Patchway to go to. Obviously we had to call in the Britannia to 'celebrate'. The locals didnt much care for our presence, tough titty.

Bang on - didn't big Wayne Allison bag a hat trick on a real wet night against them down the Gate?

As for the 0-4 - what a day out that was. Mental, on and off the pitch

We parked up found a pub over the bridge from the ground I think. They tried to storm the pub they got to the doors , didn't stay long !

As I recall there were glass canopies above the pavements on the high street, a good few had to be replaced by the time we left!

I watched most of the game (partially !) up a floodlight pylon that was on the away terrace :D

 idiot that I am, I heard about the result listening to the radio on a train...to Brum, where I was living at the time (at Uni)

What a plank...

I remember thinking "Brum away - that's a defeat". Put the results on at 5 o'clock (no rolling scores service then) to hear "It was daylight robbery at St Andrews today. Robbie Turner, Bob Taylor and Rob Newman all scored to give Bristol City a 4-0 win". That win put City on top of the table. Later in the season we had an even more emphatic win; 5-1 at Swansea.

Ha, i must have been close to you Bob, I was also up it for a while.

It was mayhem at the pub before, kicking off throughout the game and there was a massive mob of Bolton outside after too.

Despite the second to last game I still rate it as my favourite ever season. Swashbuckling football, God himself up front for us and large, boisterous away support. Great stuff.

Yoraths first game in charge of Swansea and always remember the massed bank of City fans repeatedly singing , as the goals rolled in

'And now you got to believe us , the Welsh are f******* S**t'

Even Chris Honour scored ffs !!!!

A brilliant  hat trick from God incl a diving header and a 25 yd volley as ball dropped over his shoulder

Oh right. This one was better quality (no offence intended!)

Actually, I think it was highlights, not the whole match.

Not to forget, after each of the above: "Yorath must stay, Yorath must stay, woh-oh, woh-oh!"

Perhaps Never To The Dark Side could stop showing off his video covers and upload his immaculate copy?!
