nice he bothered to stop and have his picture taken though.

Yes. Most City fans would have told that desperate man in a blue t-shirt, hanging around the gents to do one.

No toilets on the gas team coach then - or were they driving their own cars to the game in convoy?;)

They're coming for us mind

Made me smile.

Will duck after saying this, but fair play to the Rovers player as well making the time to have a picture taken with a young'un wearing red.

Would love to know what happened if/when the sticker was found.

I must have my Grumpy Knickers on today but here goes...Is this REALLY news, an article in the Bristol Post, wtf?!!! Ok it's mildly amusing on a forum or even a Facebook group, but the regional newspaper reporting it?

Fair play to the Gas player for being approachable and posing in good faith. I'm just thinking of it was the other way around we we were seeing one of ours subject of a Gas prank would it be so funny, perhaps so. But as I said the level the paper has sunk to by even thinking people want to read this has really insulted my intelligence.

Grumpy Knickers firmly pulled up now.

It's not going to win me the Pulitzer Prize, RedM, but it's just a funny little tale that I thought would make a nice little story for the Post website.

thats it. Nothing more. Friday afternoon laugh.

also a classic little joke, pulled off with aplomb by a ten year old.

made me laugh when I saw it so I thought it might brighten up other people's day too.

And, indulge me here, but now that we are 'digital first' (basically a news website with a paper edition the next day) it means we can do more stuff - the Internet is endless - and more of this kind of funny little stories.

no one is pretending it's an important story, so have a cider and try to smile a bit more.
