Red Robin
Am I missing something here the Lad Caskey did not get a sniff last season. What is gona change with his attitude and fitness problems. Quality proven strikers is what is needed to get the goals that were blatenly missing last season to get us out of this hell hole of a division. One has arrived however another is required, with Leroy,Miller,Roberts getting 20 between them. SCOTTY coming home with 15+ we are going up. COMEON Brian sort it before the season starts. This club has piddled in this division for far to long. WAKE THE GIANT and feed him with quality, and then the stands will fill.
tompo
We may have lacked goals from the strikers last season but we also lacked the service and goals from midfield. If Caskey can prove his fitness he is a quality player. He will provide not only the service that was lacking but he will also hopefully chip in with a few much needed goals. Personally I hope he is offered a contract.
BCFC_Dan
He didn't get a sniff last season under the management of the man who thought the Doherty/Burnell partnership was a good idea. If Caskey can get himself fit, he could add 10-15 goals a season to the midfield, something that we badly need.
wayne allisons tongues
I think a fit Caskey could easily get 10-15 for us next season. Also bit of a freekick specailist, which we are mising at moment.
richieb
It obvious than Tinnion has been looking for someone slower than him??
Guest Tinnion Cider Army
In Caskey's first ever season down in Division Two he scored almost 30 goals from midfield for Reading, but then I heard some quite serious rumours of drink problems in his last season for Reading. He's a former England U-21 captain and was almost ever-present in the Premiership for Spurs in 1993/94. In one season he was included in the PFA Division One side! Certainly was one of the most creative players outside the Premiership on his day but a lack of running let him down.
Guest Cyprus_Red
Caskey is a quality and like a lot of people have said he is one of the most creative players outside the prem. IF he gets fit he could be a huge asset to us which could get us promoted Also brilliant at set pices saw him play for city reserves and he was quality from dead ball situation and scored a peach of a free kick. RedM
I don't know much about Notts County, but as both he and Heffernan were there together maybe they played together well? If not this season just gone maybe the season before? Does Tins think we can recreate this partnership, if there was one, or am I totally wrong again? Robbored
Caskey is a classy player but over his career his fitness has let him down.I don't what the problem is but some players are like that. They have to work harder than most to stay in shape. They only have to look at a pie to put on weight. If Caskey can fit and stay in shape then he'd be a valuable asset to City especially with Tinnion coming to the end of his playing days.Caskey on his day is better than any other midfielder in this Division and better than most in the one above. He also scores goals and takes a mean free-kick. I'd love to se a fit Caskey playing for City.

Guest Bawno
I believe this is the problem with City's financial buisness. We buy many player and have many from the reserve team who have come up into the first team-all wanting pay so while they are on the team and in contract we have to pay them- however- they never get a game so City are just wasting money. If you are going to buy players or bring players in from the reserve team then please play them, even if it is for just one or two matches because then you can say that the money has gone towards something!
