Certainly a credit to the club tonight. Not many of them but made a lot of noise second half before we got the second goal. Fair play to them.

Takes great dedication to make such a trip on a Tuesday... and my God that team is poor.

The least effective footballing Trotters since Del Boy and Rodney.

I thought it was a poor game god knows what they thought of it. Fair play to them if they endure that on a regular basis.

Their forum suggests it is one of their best performances so far!

If that's the case - ouch.

It's a shame to see them where they are.  I thought after the promotion in May they could really challenge this league and even try to regain position in the premier league but it's almost as if they're not even trying.     From what I could ascertain your win tonight was similar to our own against them recently where victory arrived against an opposition who rarely tried or seemed resigned to defeat before the game was even underway.

I have respect for them, founder members of the football league and winners of the first FA Cup Final at the national stadium.   That great team of the 1950's with players like Lofthouse.    Not a great lover of North-West teams but these would be a rare exception, I hope they can move up the league as they've got real problems up there at the moment.     Sad to see such an established team with rich history losing it's way like it has.
