Robbored Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Thinking about the decent performances we've seen so far I cast my mind back to last season and wondered how LJ has managed to turn things around so impressively. It occurred to me that since he joined City LJ has been like a head mechanic working with his other mechanics on an engine that's been misfiring and regularly breaking down. We saw them tinkering with it trying to get it running smoothly. A couple of new parts, a tweak here and a tweak there and even moving the parts around before eventually getting it going as they want it. As the boss the head mechanic gets much of the praise but he's built a team of other mechanics around him whose skills he rates highly. That's why we've seen Macca and Holden doing various interviews pre and post match. Now it's performing well it'll be a matter of keeping it performing..........
steveybadger Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 I think he stopped changing the parts every week!
Lord Northski Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Good analogy. Although most of us thought he was a dip stick last season
