Port Said Red
So it seems so long ago that we were taken to the cleaners by Leeds, but what a difference in our respective performances since. We have bounced back with 4 wins, one against Premiership opposition, two away from home and a Derby win to top it off. Leeds on the other hand lost their cup tie to a Premiership team, have lost two games at home including a Yorkshire Derby and lost to Brentford away. I think this is further evidence of a new resilience to the side this season and gives me confidence that an extended poor run is far less likely. For Leeds it could be that after their win they started believing their own press, and when we see how quickly they have slipped down the table, we would do well to avoid their example. Dr Balls
Leeds were already sliding a bit before we played them. We had our worst performance in ages, and they obviously played above themselves after an early couple of goals. And yes we have shown resilience by our response, which is all encouraging and a big change compared to last season. Long may it last!
Luxo Jr.
We have an exciting team with a mixture of very promising players and solid team members. It's hard to argue that any of our players are ineffective, and as a team, we work really well. That does mean that there will come times where we don't win games because the team as a whole has an off-day, and in a minority of situations it's useful to have the ingenuity of the convict who swam across the river. However, the vast majority of times, our team mentality and tactics will be of much greater use. Also, I believe we do have ingenuity in the squad, and am excited by the thought that a couple of attacking players are still yet to show their best (Leko, Eliasson etc). Edge1981
The other thing I noticed was just how much flak Luke Ayling has come in for from their fans. At the start of the season all you heard from Leeds fans was how great he is - The best right back in the division etc. Now a quick search for his name on Twitter shows the Leeds fans aren’t so impressed. Keeps getting caught out of possession high up the players pitch (sounds familiar) and has it seems he has been responsible for a goal in each of their last 4 games. Its a funny old game

In a way the Leeds game was a useful wake up call to our players (and fans!) about expectations and the hard work required in this division. Its a funny old game Ayling for me will get found out at Leeds like he did here. Not a bad outlet going foward but he's not a good defender.. It was a home game and Ayling got caught out of possession way up the pitch and we ended up conceding. I don’t think he played after that. It was not too long after Johnson came to the club. I think back to what LJ said prior to the Leeds game about no-one having given us a bloody nose yet and the importance of how we would react after someone did. Well, now we know. Mr Popodopolous
Have to say, this team has something about it doesn't it. First thought so following the 4 points from the games at Reading and Wolves and how we got them. The spirit, the fight and good football too- these are good times to be a City fan. Grey Fox
We did not do great against Leeds , Burton and Millwall, all three very physical. The great thing is that with the wins at Sunderland and now Cardiff we seem to have learnt how to play those type of sides.Last season that was not the case, so well done LJ . Don’t underestimate the effect Djuric has had on the latter games you mentioned. Think we played fine against Burton and Millwall just didn’t have that presence to rough up their centre halves. Leeds we were very unlucky with injuries. Wait until our best 18 are all fit and ready to go. We will have options for a few different styles. Leeds were far quicker out the traps than we were and before we knew it we were 0 - 2 down. That knocked the stuffing out of us and we simply couldn't recover. Going 2--0 up boosted their confidence and drained ours. But............that was the "bloody nose" LJ referred to and I'm sure he's just at delighted as we are at how City have bounced backed so impressively.
