BanburyRed
Awesome job by the boys today, fan-bloody-tastic! Just seen the result coming out of Twickenham in the cold...fair play to those who made the trip and made the noise! #bouncebackability Quote Link to comment

Eliasson messed up for their 2nd goal but really did make up for it for the rest of the game. Duric a beast again up top. We really weren’t very good until their second goal when we suddenly started to play and move forward in numbers. Even Magnússon began to look like a great championship LB. You could tell Hull were a team low on confidence because we really rattled them. Brownhill was needed in the middle and he was all over the pitch second half and showed energy only associated with Reid so far this season. A great win and comeback out of the blue. Very harsh to single out Eliasson there. So many players made mistakes in that passage of play, Magnússon when the ball went in initially, Paterson not even challenging for the header after and the CBs as well. 1 Quote Link to comment

Utter drivel As bad as anything I can ever remember. What on earth has been going on? That second goal... wow, just wow. We must have had about five attempts to clear it. Hull have been rubbish but we are so bad it's beyond words. How are you feeling now? Quote Link to comment

Donkeeebles
That was bizarre. I've never seen us give the ball away as much as we did up to their 2nd. As soon as we went 2-0 down we started playing well. First bit of sustained pressure and they crumbled. The 3 subs all made a difference and Brownhill drove us on last 20. What a day 1 Quote Link to comment

xerox6060
On way back on the train... Complete robbery, Hull werent brilliant but they worked very hard and had the game in the bag, City never put together anything of note (Woodrow dreadful Bobby well off colour) or a shot until about the 65th minute then two pieces of quality delivery allowed Flint to head home close In and Reid to tap in a scramble, with Hull now confidence shot, Brownhill cracked home a screamer..worst away display I've seen though the subs Paterson, Djoric (who just stood there and flicked things on ) and Eliasson changed it, (Pack about to be sent off and odowda crocked) fair play great spirit and determination to keep on going, but definitely not at the races today...great result ... Singled him out because he was so good after if you get me. It was a poor header for the goal though. Gonna be in the team a lot if COD’s injury is as bad as it appeared, needs to improve defensively but going forward he was electric. Quote Link to comment

havanatopia
Talking ahead of todays game:- "I think there could be three results." Now I begin to understand why Slutsky will soon be the ex-Hull manager. Football club owners do make some rather stupid and rather expensive decisions, especially foreign owners. This one certainly ranks up there with the Chicken Lickers. Quote Link to comment

I will let others judge how it looked after 70 minutes. In the main, in any game, at any level, anywhere in the world, a team that is 2-0 after 70 minutes and playing poorly, rarely win the game. However, I am truly delighted to have been proved wrong - it was a fantastic result that did not look remotely likely at 70 mins. Quote Link to comment

It was a shambles of the highest magnitude with three or four horrible errors that could have led directly to a goal before Eliasson put a huge cherry on top of the cake. But fair play, he didn't let it affect his game. Quote Link to comment
