Not driving at his opposing full back like we know he can. This game is also showing that it’s really time put genuine full backs into the RB/LB slots. Wright & Maggs whilst solid enough defending, offer absolutely nothing going forward. Balance of the team from front to back looks all wrong tonight. This is causing a ripple effect which means Reid and Patts are having to drop so so deep to get on the ball. Injuries ffs we cant play with a proper right back obviously and are more solid with joe in front of mags. Fully fit squad we would have 2 proper full backs. Davefevs
Derby making the pitch big, but we look like 3 separate units, which means we cant press as one unit. Need to either condense the play by pushing up, or let them have it at the back. Prefer we squeeze up...and take the risk over the top. 1 Quote Link to comment

WECANDO
Seemed to be a bit slow towards the end of the first half. 2 or 3 not marking or looking about. Flint has to pick somebody up. Don’t give Nugent 10 foot all the time. Stay tight. Smith keeps giving the ball away. Patterson is wriggly in and out of them. But had left footed Bryan been on the end of our best chance instead of right footed Patterson we would have been one up. We need to be 10 % better in the second half or we could lose this game.COYRs. Quote Link to comment

Also maybe Kent on for Pato on the wing? 1 Quote Link to comment
formerly known as ivan
Pointless football so far. It’s all well and good trying to play perfect football, quick interchanging pass but it has to have a purpose of which there is currently none! Get Fammy on and play more direct. If he is fit enough to be on the bench he must be fit enough to play 45 mins. 1 Quote Link to comment

Up The City!
We are clearly missing a real attacking threat. I like Bobby but he is far too isolated on his own. Quote Link to comment

Yep, giving too many balls away with soft passes in their half when attacking - from which they are breaking quickly and creating situations. Brownhill been very poor in terms of misplaced passes, might be worth giving him a rest for Walsh. 1 Quote Link to comment
Dan Robin
We had two good chances, then Derby became dominant. Bobby too isolated. Edited January 19, 2018 by Dan Robin Quote Link to comment

Diedhiou coming on probably will help, but I hope it's not to be "direct", or hoof ball. Quote Link to comment
Fordy62
It’s not been great but not terrible either. Best chance of the half was for Pato. Things need to change, granted, but we’re in the game and this is a talented Derby team who’ve created little more than us other than their set plays. 2 Quote Link to comment
CiderHider
These injuries.. cant wait till we have them all back to share the load, Bobby is crying out for a partner up front and when is Pisano back? Edited January 19, 2018 by CiderHider 1 Quote Link to comment
Dastardly and Muttley
Pato’s looking poor tonight and he’s central to our attacking threat. I’d give him ten mins after half time to turn it around, then look to change it. Kent or Fammy on for Pato. Quote Link to comment
Lrrr
So Andrews answer for 'what do we need to change to win' wasn't really an answer of what we need to do, more hope Derby decide to play. Good way to not have to give a proper answer. Quote Link to comment

Esmond Million's Bung
A very similar performance to the last 3, lots of pretty football but we either over complicate or run out of ideas in attacking situations and we have no scoring threat, poor crossing as well. It doesn't help with playing 2 players who are not full backs, Magnússon has been ok but occasionally strays to far forward but Wright for me is on the edge of a second yellow. That all said it was refreshing to see that we are not over awed by them and boy what another team of whingers and whiners, who know how to go down easily, more of a presence upfront would help. 1 Quote Link to comment
deadredfred
Bobby has had zero service whatsoever. He's not going to get anything from 60 yard hoofs. We're even sniffing for knock-downs when we do punt long. Just a bit disjointed. Need Brownhill to link MF to Bobby and Pato. Ridden our luck at times (crossbar), but also really could have scored. Id take a point Quote Link to comment
Garland-sweden
Good ht came. Derby is playing faster now. So far so good for us. We have to step it up If we should win. COYR!!! 1 Quote Link to comment

Alex_BCFC
We don't really create much at the moment. Makes it hard to win especially when Paterson squanders chance like that. Tough 2nd half awaits. Quote Link to comment
1960maaan
Can't see a change to early in the 2nd half, but FD will add an option. Depends how fit he really is. Be nice to see Bobby playing off of him like earlier in the season. So anyone watching Sky will see the I know absolutely **** all Edited January 19, 2018 by 1960maaan Quote Link to comment
