The window of opportunity to remain is closing. Lose tonight and we will be out of the top 6 come 5pm Saturday assuming one of Brentford, Preston or Boro win. And if the Blades win at Hull we will be out of it by Friday night. So, by Friday night we could be 7th and by the same time Saturday we could be as low as 10th going into the Cardiff game.

Winning tonight is, imo, the most important so far this season. We have to stop Fulham's charge. I do not fancy our chances unless we are 4 up at HT.

p.s. as a token of good will I am not doing Match Day for this evening; pretty much every single one I have done in the past 10 weeks has resulted in a bad result.

Why don’t we try 4 up by full time. Crazy but might just work...

It's really frustrating at the moment. Despite our poor run of form, we have had at least three games (Wolves, Sunderland and Leeds) where we have shown for 70 minutes that we are more than capable of beating anyone in this division. The problem is panic seems to be kicking in when we concede.

In fact, Villa aside, the only league game I can think of since Christmas where our opponents definitively outplayed us was Derby where we kept a clean sheet and got a point. That's pretty remarkable in itself for a team with one win in eight.

I don't actually expect us to get outplayed in either of the next two fixtures either but the concern is we'll be up against opponents who will take any chances that come their way. We cannot be as lax as recent games either in taking our own chances or conceding chances to the opposition.

Technically Mrs Isewater eyeing up a new Kia .

Awful cars tell her. Made of polystyrene in some labour camp near Busan full of North Korean shipped in labour. Tell her to go for a pre 73 Hilman Imp. Rear engined, throaty, no tax and cheap insurance. Husbands dream really.

If Sheff U don't win tonight we have got away with it. But we simply have to win on Saturday and at Burton. Would take a point at PNE with our awful record v them of late.

Yep, it looks like the next 3 games has to return 7 points, as a minimum requirement!
