santibello
Its frustrating, we lost our cool, we gave away two silly goals. But having the fans at our player's throats does not help us. Having our fans at LJ's throat does NOT help us. We are becoming a team that bottles it under the weight of expectations. We did so we at the beginning of the season, and even in December when we were in top 3, the threads on this forum were about patience, about not expecting too much, about being proud of us for where we are. Literally the moment we take our position for granted, and start turning against are team is when we bottle it. We went on a bloody good run this season. We are growing, our team is young, our manager is young, oir chairman actually gives as s*** about us, our stadium is built for the PL. We will make it up there soon, but right now our fans are holding us back. Fans that can't make noise when we are at home. Fans that slagged off half our players when we were top four. Remember playing against Leeds? Their team was 2-0 down after an abysmal run. But when did they score? When their fans started screaming for them, cheering them on despite everything. Why can't we do that. This is the best we have been in years, why are we turning on our players who have been amazing this season. PLEASE don't let ourselves become like England where there is too much pressure and hatred for our players to thrive...

Lrrr
2-1 defeat away to a form team just behind us, not great but shit happens. Need to focus on the next 3, Burton, Ipswich and Barnsley. All 3 winnable and if we want to still be in with a shot of play offs then 7/9 needed at least really.
tinman85
End of the day most expected to lose tonight. They have a hoodo on us. Blessing was we kept it to one goal to stay above them by one goal!!
cityexile
Preston are a good side, nearly at full strength now, and in really good form. The result is everything of course, but in the second half it sounded like we played some decent stuff, and created some chances. We got edged out. Flints sending off makes it ten times worse. Said it before but our back four is the reason we are likely to miss out. Simply cannot afford to give away the types of goals we gave away tonight, which we seem to do time and time again. Just having gone 1-1 how are we caught like that? Equally, there is just no one off the bench that you think can make something happen. Kent just seems to make us worse. Will all be doom and gloom, but fine margins tonight.
roddy-d
Good luck Preston you did the double over us. Truly deserve to be in the playoffs than us. I hope Middlesbrough slip up for you, I can't see the rest slipping otherwise.
