BournemouthRed
Having just put next season's fixtures in my diary it struck me that quite a few games are likely to have to be rearranged due to clashing internationals - here are the relevant dates for those of us who have to plan which City games we can get to...... Saturday 4th September 2004 Peterborough vs City (3.00) - Likely to be rearranged? Austria vs England (3.00) N.Ireland vs Poland - Doherty absent? Saturday 9th October 2004 City vs Tranmere (3.00) - Likely to be rearranged? England vs Wales (3.00) Azerbaijan vs N.Ireland - Doherty absent? Australia vs Solomon Islands - Wilkshire absent? Saturday 26th March 2005 City vs Bournemouth (3.00) - Likely to be rearranged? England vs N.Ireland (3.00) - Doherty absent? That's all the clashes until September 2005 - though Doherty will probably miss the Swindon away game on 28th March as N.Ireland play in Poland two days later. Guest WillsbridgeRed
City would never play the same time as England - If they did i would hope no one would turn up, and those that did caught the flue or something
BournemouthRed
City would never play the same time as England - If they did i would hope no one would turn up, and those that did caught the flue or something ← City played away at Reading at the same time England were playing Sweden in a friendly a couple of seasons ago. You're right though, there's no way a competitive England game would clash with a City game (though I think England-Greece clashed with Carlisle vs The Gas?!?). If it ever came down to it though I'd choose to watch City every time.
Guest TimmerD
According to the FA website, the ko for the Austria match is still TBC and the other matches are still TBC.

Guest WillsbridgeRed
There's immigrants more patriotic about this country. I can understand people missing friendlies, but what about the world cup matches? Would people really miss those?

Guest cidersam
you will normally find the games will kick off earlier the same day as england games these will normally kick off at 12pm or 1 pm. Doherty/wilkshire on international duty will have no effect on the game being postponed as we will still have enough plyers to play in a match
Guest mercury
When England played greece the other year on the saturday, weren't most of the nationwide matches played on the friday night before?
BCFC_Dan
Saturday 26th March 2005 City vs Bournemouth (3.00) - Likely to be rearranged? England vs N.Ireland (3.00) - Doherty absent? ← Monday 28th March 2005 Doherty sold to Premiership club? It could happen if he does well against England. *awaits smart-alec response saying that 28th March is after the transfer deadline*
