It happened to Reid, and took him til 25 to catch-up (and storm ahead!). Morrell another, who has had to wait longer because City have improved whilst he’s develoing. If we were a struggling Champ side or even Lg1, he’d have 30-40 games under his belt. I think Vyner might be one who really has to bulk up his athletic build to make that extra step-up. In some ways I’m pleased that Vyner isn’t impressing too much at Rotherham - it’s all great experience for him and will no doubt harden him to variables of being a pro footballer and the tough demands of of playing as a defender in a struggling Championship team. The brutal truth is that rather he struggles ( and learns) at Rotherham than at City where I doubt he’d be close to the matchday squad with the abundance of defenders we have at City. A 21 year old who’s, what in only in his 2nd full season as a pro being played out of position for a start maybe they should aim the boo’s towards their manager. Bring him home. Northern bastards. Player of the year one year, scapegoat the next. Welcome to the World of professional football Zac.

Constantly left 1 on 1 with Sterling and Sane against Man City. Thanks for that!
