Anyone know where cats coaches park up there is it in there car park,

We stopped on the road last couple of times, right opposite where we go in. You just cross a small road, might even be on the club’s land, ie no other traffic.  I think it’s the least distance ever to get to and from the coaches. If it’s 50 feet I would be surprised.

Thanks fellow reds, only reason I asked, thinking of going, but, I've heard from several people there supporters (youth) have a habit of attacking away supporters at the back of the head and running off, heard this several times,

Bit strange, been there three times and never seen or heard a hint of trouble, exactly the opposite.

Been trouble there a few times this season with Wigan, Stoke and Blackburn but if you take your kids to Ashton Gate you should have no concerns about going to Deepdale.

Wigan and Blackburn are obvious local rivals I guess. But either last season or the one before Preston have a Gentry Day, where they all dress up in bowler hats, well they had that at Bolton or with Bolton, can’t remember detail s much but I said at the time that I can’t imagine getting together with the Gas for a day of,basically, politeness!

Hate to say but would say that is Chinese whispers, to be honest even Millwall and Cardiff you wouldn't need to be dashing for a coach like you described

Here is a useful away fans guide Preston have put together, not directly answering the original question but nonetheless very informative

Not sure how up to date that is. Just had a look for the pub we went in last time, turns out that the Sumners has been pulled down apparently.

Evening Proudpreston29 here from PNE footy forum http://pebbleleague.com/ , Preston doesnt have designated away pubs but there are quite a few good pubs that except well behaved fans . Worth looking at this thread if you are planning a visit on Saturday and looking for a prematch pint or food  http://pebbleleague.com/thread/8517/away-day-thread

Also see our twitter for more info later in the week https://twitter.com/PEBBLELEAGUE

Preston seem to be playing a bit more football now.

They have a bit of a hoodo over us so may revert to type on Saturday but in all metrics they seem to have improved in recent weeks- attacking more, passing more- creating more. I'm sure some of the Preston fans on here will be able to confirm or deny? Always thought they had some quite good players so in a way not too surprising but vs us they are set up in a pretty horrible manner.

This will throw up a different challenge if they continue in this vein therefore, but als opportunities- because how they play vs us makes them a very difficult team to break in, to counter. If they continue as in recent weeks though, it will enable the chance for some quicker breaks, but at the same time we would have to be wary of their improved style. All told I'd take a point there but a more open Preston could make for a more beatable Preston!

Just face the other way then.....
