Fuber
The jump to league one isnt as high as it seems when you look at Sheffield Utd, Charlton, among others, and the players involved. Just look at Tommy Rowe! He was a very strong league one player when signed ala Smith and Brownhill. He's been completely wasted here. We've just wasted 18 months of the guys career ala Eisa. No we haven’t, much like Eisa he has been given time to show himself worthy of a starting spot but hasn’t. He was dreadful at Leeds last season, don’t think he completed a single pass and summed his performance up by dragging a shot so far wide it was nearly a throw in... A loan will do him good and then we will hopefully see if he’s ready for another stab at championship football

Yeah that’s the bit I don’t understand - seems the decision was made ages ago. How come it’s taken so long to get him on his way out? Or do some players refuse to go?? Bristol Rob
Big fish thrives in small pond, then realises that he is on a par with some of our U23s. All of a sudden, the only thing he has is a higher wage. Does he get his head down, ask for a loan, knock on the managers door and ask 'what am I missing?' Or does he go off radar... No idea, but clearly a lad with his league experience should be asking more from himself, or if he is unhappy in the west, engineer a move away by some method. Actually the Opta stats showed that he was the 2nd rated player in League 1 that season, the 1st being Jack Marriott who was being pimped around to the highest bidder by Peterborough and just like Eisa he has the chance to make some progress, if he can't make the step up then the club will move him on with the best of wishes and at a profit. So hardly a rediculous signing

Don’t see how it was a ridiculous signing, it was just one that didn’t work out. But let’s remind ourselves we were saying the same about Taylor Moore 12 months ago. BCFCGav
Loaned to Rotherham. They did alright with Vyner last year, but only alright. Fans turned on him at times iirc. Gut tells me it’s not gonna work out with City and Hak, hope I’m wrong.

marcofisher
This could be very good for us, he had very good numbers in League 1 before joining us and was hampered by injury. Rotherham are absolutely flying at the moment and you would hope that playing for them would have him playing with some confidence. We perhaps made a mistake with not letting Eisa leave on loan to see what he is made of, and it seems we have learnt from our mistakes in that regard. None of us have actually seen Adelakuun play much because he has never had a chance, and perhaps was never ready either. It could well be that he absolutely tears it up in L1 and helps them win promotion, which would in turn heighten his value and possibly lead to a champ loan or sale next season. Or just as much chance that it will show that he has a future here.
