******* hell, the good times didn’t last long did they? No doubt all the gobshites after the Euros have vanished and gone back to the rugby.

Pal of mine went to the game on the Friday with his family, but with 3 kids and season tickets for Cardiff, he said it was hard to justify the cost for a friendly.

Many factors will have caused a lower attendance.

Young children now at school so need to be in bed early.

Cost of tickets. Also bear in mind that travel from North Wales is not easy or cheap for midweek evening games.

Population of Wales is less than one third of Greater London, that wages in London far larger than Wales. They've just had several rugby internationals and many in Wales will follow both codes.

Belarus not a crowd pulling team.

Scotland only got a half full Hampden for one of the most attractive teams in Europe, Belgium.

People don't have bottomless pockets of money!

It was a friendly against Mickey Mouse opposition so not so surprising that there was such a poor attendance. Nor is it surprising that the Jocks lost 0-4 at home.............:laughcont:............against far better opposition tbf.

But I bet if that game had been played at Wembley we would have had a near sell out

And I can probably bet you that the majority of those attending would be from London and surrounding areas.

From my experience living in South West Wales a trip to Cardiff would take me 2 and a half hours!! That alone would put many fans off travelling for a friendly match on a school night.

Possibly, and appreciate that this was on Saturday, but it was amazing that all the people I met last Saturday in London were from up North (Blackburn, Leeds and Preston)

We're talking about a full international match, not a league one side

Maybe it was priced badly but the Welsh FA would only have themselves to blame if they were charging unrealistic amounts
