The Casual Connoisseur
A word of warning slightly humorous yet deadly serious. I have sat in the williams block D for a good few years and to be honest I am less than excited by the thought of it being invaded by the "singing section". This will be bearable as we all like a good sing song and banter however I can catergorically say that I and any of the boys will be less than welcoming to that effing drum and horn and the group of kids that seem to magnetise themselves to them. Guest WillsbridgeRed
Don't worry, the band hasn't been invited, though I 'm sure that'll change. We're luring them in so we can steal the Atyeo!

The Casual Connoisseur
That is pompey chimes he is a true fanatic fairplay to him although I can confirm he ruins every Pompey I see on TV as I can hear the bell in the background, once you know it's there it drives you mental. Phone a friend and tell them......I like to, guarenteed to wind em up.

The Casual Connoisseur
Yeah lots of broken instruments and a full scale riot beats throwing seats I suppose. The Casual Connoisseur
Don't get me wrong I love the singing banter and the ETC but I think bands and instruments have no place at Ashton Gate.
midland red
IF YOU COMPLAIN STRONGLY ENOUGH ABOUT SAID DRUMS AND TRUMPETS YOU MAY BE ABLE TO GET THOSE RESPONSIBLE EJECTED OR MAYBE BANNED FROM THE GROUND FOR LIFE, OR BETTER STILL THE CLUB MAY CLOSE DOWN THE WILLIAMS STAND ALLTOGETHER.PROBLEM SOLVED. YOURS MIDLAND RED.
Stoke_Gifford_Red
I find it is alright to have drummer and to an extent a band if the person is sensible and uses their instrument to compliment others voices and not as a way of making a lot of noise. LSN
We dont need the drums or trombone and orchestra. We have the back of the Williams to smack, a hand to smack the other and seats to smack down. We all have loud voices too. I'm predicting a very loud and alcohol influenced 50 lads in there saturday. Come on the boys!

You'll be in an excellent position to join in - or maybe even lead the chanting.

We soon moved out of there! I hope the new singing section gets things moving in there. Best of luck to them, I may even move back. The acoustics should be good but shame about the pillars!
