I saw one of them thinks this sort of badge will make them the "St Pauli" of England. This is stupid for several reasons. Firstly, St Pauli play in a 30,000 seater stadium which I believe has running water and electric lighting. Secondly, they've played in their domestic top flight. Thirdly, "Tolerance and respect in mutual human relations are important pillars of the St. Pauli philosophy" And finally, the St. Pauli badge doesn't contain any ******* pirate stuff you daft gas monkeys.

Red Shadow
I always felt a bit bad about buying this after seeing this band at the Locarno with The Cramps in 1978. Seems like it's coming back to haunt me (great gig mind): Edited November 11, 2022 by Red Shadow

It’s no wonder that they rarely mention us on their forum….they walk blindly into their deluded world and provide us with so many goodies. Beauties!!! I am pretty sure that Gert Mare does actually SIT himself independently into a chair thank you. Unlike foaming at the mouth, banjo playing "gas go marching in" who obviously can't do anything without its carer, even spelling simple words. Stick to the crayons, moron, that's if you can unstick yourself from a window. 2

So they decide to re-brand - fair enough. Many clubs, including us, have done this to keep pace with modern day marketing. So, as part of this re-brand & increase their global appeal (could they be more globally appealing..? Who knew..?!)... ... Do they decide that being associated with a nickname that has a literal definition of a group who commit robbery & violence (at sea) Famous for Rape, Pilliage & plunder. Alternative meanings are those that illegally re-produce other peoples work - or, the slang definitions, which describe a man searching around for casual sex - or a pimp that steals a prostitute from another pimp.. Literally - only they could muster pride from such an association..! And as for the new badge... It does look like Ian Holloway has had his teeth capped and just looks utterly odd, without the lower jaw section included. Sheff Utd have blades as a tribute the the City's steel industry. Rovers have no reason for it other that to portray violence & illegal behaviour. Whoever was charged with design & re-branding for them must simply be something of a halfwit..! 1 3

ExiledAjax
I didn't make it clear but that badge is a mock up of the club's thoughts on what the new badge could look like. It's not the final confirmed new symbol of depression.

Thing is when your alternative name is "Black Arabs FC" you really are stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to branding. GrahamC
17th, with most of the sides around the playoffs having a game in hand. Are they still coming for us? You’ll still get some oddballs on here say how well they’re doing, they are a bottom eight third division team with an ex con in charge. Small club forever in our shadow.
