The consensus was that they’d have been happy with where they are pre season but Barton had got too big for his boots with claims about “overtaking the red half” and was constantly falling out with people. They’d screwed up the transfer window and one comment was “we need to stop this “In Joey We Trust” line”. Although, everyone interviewed before the game thought they would win, and one even refered to MKD as cannon fodder. There cannot be another club with such a deluded following.
